Contests here are exactly the same as in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Versions, with one minor difference: a Pokémon's Nature affects its appeals. If its nature makes it like Spicy food, all Cool attacks get +1; if its nature makes it hate Sweet food, all Cute attacks get -1; and so on. Check a site such as Bulbapedia or Serebii to see which natures affect which flavors and which flavors affect which Contest categories.

To enter, you must pick one Pokémon that you own on PokéHeroes. Provide a link to it in your form, and it will be registered as soon as possible.
Level has no impact; however, your Pokémon may only learn moves that it (or its normal form, in the case of Events and such) can legitimately learn in-game (by TM, breeding, leveling up, etc. but NOT only by cheating OR events). It also cannot learn moves that originated past Generation III; for example, if you enter a Luxray, it can have Toxic, but not Thunder Fang.
When registering, you must select four valid moves. The only exception is when you are using a Pokémon that cannot legitimately have that many valid moves; if your Pokémon CAN have four valid moves, it MUST have four.

Information on the Contest that is currently going on (turn order, category, etc.) is listed in the second post.

If you are entered in a Contest, you must check the second post to find the turn order, and when it is your turn to post, please do so. You must choose one of your Pokémon's moves; you will then receive points and have any other effects occur in the same way that they would in a Pokémon Contest in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
Like in the official Contests, there are five turns. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. If there is a tie, all members who have tied will continue in an additional turn; any other members may NOT continue. For example, if User A and User B have 5 points, but User C has 4 points, and the time is up, Users A and B will each perform again in a continuation of the Contest, but User C will NOT perform.

When all of the first five Contests have ended, the winners of those Contests will be entered in a final Contest. In this final Contest, the effects of jamming are doubled. (For example, Luster Purge normally reduces the score by 3, so in this, it will subtract 6.) Additionally, this Contest has no category, so there will ONLY be the boosts and reductions based on the participants' natures. The winner of this Contest wins the Marine Cave Map.
Note that in addition to the winners of the other five Contests, one member who lost in the Contest will be randomly selected to enter this Contest, unless he or she does not wish to enter.
