~ Hello ~
I'm Apple (or Khristian if you know me by that) and I like to randomly make new species ^-^
And since I will probably never use them, I'll let you wonderful people adopt them.
Now, before I start selling, I would like to clarify that I'm not a fancy/professional/slightly decent artist, and thus, is why my adopts will be terrible and probably ugly. But I try my best, okay? ;-;
So, I do not expect you to bid much and I'm totally fine with that.
Well, enough about me and onto my adopts. But first....
~ Rules ~
1. PH rules apply, of course.
2. Please, don't steal any adopts - despite how trashy they may look.
3. You may not change the adopt, but you may add accessories if you wish.
4. Like rule 3, you may not change the 'species bio' but you may give your adopt a name, gender, background, personality etc.
5. All species are closed unless stated.
6. Credit, please? Even if they're trash ;-;
7. It would be appreciated if you didn't sell them on, but is allowed as long as credit is given.
8. There is no form - Just post your offers~

Pasuitta

Species Name: Pasuitta
Name Origin: "Passer" meaning Sparrow (Latin) and "Uitta" meaning Ribbon (Latin)
Height: Female = 10cm , Male = 15cm
Weight: Female = 20g , Male = 30g
Wingspan: Female = 20cm , Male = 30cm
Diet: Soft fruit and berries, Small seeds, Pollen
Appearance: Their body and head has a cotton like texture, whilst their wings are silky and waterproof. The ribbons are actually 'feelers' which are sensitive enough to pick up the vibrations of emotions. Depending upon which flock they are from, they will be found in an array of colors. But it's not uncommon to see, for example, a Red flock with an orange Pasuitta. That would mean a Red female has bred with a Yellow male. They have no eyes, but their 'feelers' give them enough information for them to mentally vision their surroundings.
Personality (wild): They tend to be shy, reserved creatures. Usually hidden away. Yet they are also very caring and loving if you're ever given the chance to take care of one.
Habitat: Meadows, Forest outskirts
Intelligence: They are, surprisingly, very intelligent. Because they are blind and deaf, they have adapted to use their ribbons or 'feelers' to detect vibrations which allow them to pick up emotions. These vibrations cannot be felt by humans.
Emotional Capability: They prefer to be in flocks of their color but can adapt to be on their own or in a smaller flock of mixed colors.
Reproduction: Like other birds, they lay eggs. However, their eggs have a velvet-y texture. They're easily broken, which causes the parent birds to become depressed as they get extremely protective and attached to the eggs the moment they're laid. It's common to see the parent birds pull out strands of ribbon to wrap around their eggs. This is thought to be some sort of territorial marking. Each female may breed once a year, and may lay up to four eggs. The males will stay with the female until the eggs hatch, which takes between one to two months.
Health: The birds are very delicate and will be injured easily. If not treated quickly and carefully, they have a higher risk of dying. However, with treatment, they tend to heal relatively quickly.
Other:
- They're blind
- They're also deaf
- Common Pasuittas - Red, Yellow, Blue
- Uncommon - Orange, Green, Purple (by breeding two different common colors)
- Rare - Pink, Black, White, Grey (Mutations)
- They become attached to their human quickly
