raven came to the conclusion to mess with the battle just for a little. She used her shadow magic, making her eyes glow crimson, to hold the teacher in place for the girls to capture her

Vivienne's eyes widened when her limbs froze in place. Choko began yipping at Raven, grabbing onto her shoes and trying to drag her into the light or at least stop her from hurting his master.

Lula saw her chance. With a loud "Chaaaarge! ~", she catched the Skele-tutor in a "strong hold", which was more like a hug considering her weak strenght.
