Lillian stepped into the school, for yet another year.
However, things would be different. Humans where getting
into the mix. Lillian didn't know much about humans. Her father
would tell her of the times where he would go to earth and try to
be let in to houses and apartments by humans, but never was given
permission. Rubbing her pitch black eyes, Lillian trudged along
with her suitcase and duffel bag.
The trio of girls had always stayed together. They were like joke,
in a way. A telepath, a sprite, and a shape shifter walk into a
high school. Sarah was in her 'default' right now.
Brown hair and blue eyes. She put a hand to her hair and it became
black slowly, and then touched her eyelids and gave herself a red
eye and a black eye. She rarely gave herself two different colored
eyes, but she found it cute. Nora smiled at the youngest of the trio,
happy she was ready to go to their school at such a young age. Nora
realized she was probably going to be bullied, and frowned. When
Sarah looked at her, she fake-smiled. Sarah was bullied in the
past. Some of the taunts that she and Isabelle heard when they were
picking her up from her old school still remained in her mind.
Giving the youngest a hug, she said; "If anyone bullies you, let me
know, and I'll... Deal with them." Sarah frowned her No
murder frown, but returned the hug and said"Okay. Isabelle watched this, also remembering
the taunts. Sarah's parents had died or ran away. The taunt that
she heard the most was "Hey! Shape shifter! Why don't you show
us what your parents look like! Oh wait! They left you!"
Isabelle's fists clenched, but Nora put a hand on her
shoulder."We don't have to worry
about them anymore. New school."Isabelle nodded, still worried.
[Out Of Character {OOC}: The colors are something new I've decided
I'm gonna do to make it easier to figure out who I'm typing as or
who is talking. Isabelle is red, Sarah is pink, and Nora is black,
textwise.]
Troye dragged his wheeled suitcase along with him and he stopped in
front of the high school. He put his two duffel bags full of sports
things on the ground. "That stuff is heavy." He complained. "I told
you, I don't think you needed to bring everything." Said
Lise, who had stopped next to him. He shrugged. "This was barely
half of my stuff. Anyway, this school has supernaturals right?"
Troye said. Lise nodded. "I feel so boring now." Troye said with a
pout. Lise shrugged. "You can stay out here and complain, I'm going
inside." She said, wheeling her suitcase along with her into the
building. "Hey wait!" He said, grabbing his things and running
after her.
Maria entered the school with her suitcase rolling behind
her. She glanced around, and gave a soft sigh. She was nervous, and
her wings fluttered a bit. Would she find friends here? A lover?
These were all high hopes, but if they came true it'd be magical.
She bumped into a pale girl, and jumped back when she realized she
had ran into her. Her little weight wouldn't knock her down, that's
for sure. "Sorry, oh dear." She mumbled, face flushing red
embarrassment.
"I didn't mean to run into you... Uhm, I'm Maria." Maria
purred, smiling nervously up at Lillian. She wasn't able to
completely see the others face, at least not her eyes. She hummed
softly, shifting. She gripped her suitcase handle, smiling up at
the other girl softly and anxiously.
Maria stared at Lillan's eyes for a moment, but not because
she was scared. When she came to this school, she expected these
things. She smiled. "Your eyes are pretty." She said politely,
smiling. She shifted on her feet, flitting her wings a
bit.
"Thanks. See you around." She said unthoughtfully, starting to turn
away. "Who knew not having emotion could make you so awkward.."
Lillian thought. walking away, tempted to turn back, but didn't.
Lise gaped at all the different kinds of people everywhere. "Woah,
these people are so cool..." She mumbled. She felt someone poke her
cheek and she shook her head, glaring. "Jeez, stop staring at
everyone like that. Creep." He said with a laugh. Lise just sighed.
Lillian, anxious to see the humans for the first time, walked over
to where Lise and Troye were, and leaned on a nearby wall as she
low-key observed them. She knew her parents didn't like humans, but
Lillian was always thinking about what they were like.
Maria watched Lillian walk off, trying not to feel hurt.
She sucked in a breath, before heading off to find her dorm. She
passed some people on her trek, before coming to the dorm number
written on her papers. She sighed.
Lise glanced over at Lillian watching them and eyed her warily. "Is
she watching us?" Lise whispered. Troye rolled his eyes. "Nah." Was
all he said. Lise sighed. "Whatever you say..." She mumbled. She
looked over her papers. "So... where should we head off to first?"
She asked.
Lillian glanced down at a sheet she had received prior to meeting
day. "Blah blah blah class starts this date set up your dorm that
date..." She mumbled, her black eyes squinting at the fine print.
Then she looked at the notes her parents gave to her. Almost all of
it was about humans. "Okay then.." She thought, stuffing her papers
back in her hoodie pocket.
Maria entered the dorm, setting her suitcase on the floor
gently. She unzipped it, beginning to unpack. She made her bed,
using white and gold sheets with a black comforter. She set up her
toiletries in the bathroom, and started setting books and such on
her desk. She set a picture of herself and her best friends on the
desk, in a black frame. She smiled, remembering what the picture
was from. Girls weekend out, a few months ago. They went shopping,
stayed in a hotel, all that jazz. It was a blast. She giggled at
the memory.
"Dorms for sure. I don't want to lug all of this everywhere." Troye
said. Lise sighed. "I told you you didn't have to rbing all of
that." She said as they began walking to their dorms. "It's not
even a lot of stuff." He replied and they argued all the way to
Lise's dorm. Troye's was down the hall from her, so he have a small
wave before heading down there. Lise sighed and headed inside,
putting her suitcase on her bed and slowly began unpacking.
Isabelle had memorized most of the
layout of the campus, so she lead her friends around."We should find the do--"
They were at the dorms. "Are we sharing?
Or no?""I'm cool with
that.""But is it
allowed?"
Lillian, deciding it would be best to go to her dorm, started to
walk away. When she saw her door, she opened it with the key, but
an invisible barrier kept her from going inside. She sighed. One of
her 'powers' was that she was not allowed to enter any kind of home
environment without verbal permission. She was given a sheet, not
verbal access. She made a heavy sigh as she looked around as others
easily stepped into their dorms.
