Troye's father has been trying to get rid of Martial ever since Troye's mother died.

Lise was currently on the rooftop of a building, laying low currently spying on a fruit stall, waiting for the perfect moment to stealthily swipe some fruit. Her eyes narrowed. It didn't seem to be very busy right now, and the only people around were a few beggars, some women, and a load of guards. She sighed. She would probably be waiting here for a while.
Troye was currently on the large lawn behind the palace. It was surrounded on the three sides by the palace, and on the far side was a load of forest. Troye was currently with two of his siblings, Aidan and Amilee, the twins. They had oestered him for a while now to teach them how to play soccer after seeing him play once, so here he was. He couldn't really deny that he was enjoying himself. Zane had refused to come, and was currently locked up in his room. Melody was watching from a little bit away, sitting with Martial.
Martial smiled a bit, watching the twins enjoy themselves. It was times like these he forgot that this wasn't his real family. But just one look at Troye and he frowned again. Even though he was the reason he was here in the first place, he was also another reminder that he still wasn't really part of their family. Troye was going to be king, not him. And he was fine with that. He just wished his "father" would accept him. Melody tugged on his sleeve, snapping him out of his thoughts. "I wanna play too!" She said. Martial smiled and took her small hand, and they both walked over to everyone else.

Harper was flying away from a few men franticly, carrying bread in their talons. "Get her!" A man cried, though the pronoun is what made them flinch. They made quick turns, landing on a roof once they escaped the men. They ripped off some of the bread, nibbling on it with a smile. Plan executed.
Maria stood in the castle, staring out over the kingdom. She smiled softly, before a servant passed. "Don't forget your meeting with your fiance, Miss." They said quickly, scampering off. Maria huffed. She hoped her husband may be kind. But it was an unlikely dream to occur. She turned, dress flowing behind her as she travelled down the hall.
Sierra scampered out of the castle, cloak over her head. She ran through the streets, large bag in hand. She made it to the woods, and entered carefully. She raced through them, and found her old tree house deep within the forest. Well hidden, with no one else who knew it was there, she was safe. She scattered her items, food, and water. She huffed, leaning against the wall.

Troye grinned and waved at Martial, who smiled a bit in return. Melody waved frantically and bounded over with a huge grin on her face, dragging Martial along with her. "Hiya Troye! Can I play too?" She asked. Troye grinned. "Of course you can." He said with a smile, ruffling her hair. Amilee walked over to them, grabbing Melody's hand. "You can play with me. Who needs boys?" She said and stuck her tongue out at Troye and Martial, and Melody giggled.
"Play nicely." Martial said, waving to the two of them. "And Aidan, don't pull anither one of your pranks." Martial said. Aidan pouted before running to the two girls to pester them, which made Amilee quite mad. Martial chuckled along wit Troye, and Martial was about to stop the fight when she felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked behind him to see a maid. "You have been summoned to a meeting Sir." She said.
Martial glanced at Troye, who shrugged. "With... who?" He asked. "You fiance of course.' The maid said. Martial shook his head. "I don't have a fiance." He said, shaking his head. The maid's face was blank. "Please make your way to the throne room shortly. And do clean yourself up a bit dear. First impressions are important." The maid said, and with a bow she walked off. Martial shook his head. Troye put a hand of his shoulder. "I'll go with you." He said quietly. Martial was too shocked to say no, and Troye quickly told their siblings they would be back soon. With that, a startled Martial was led by Troye to the throne room.

Maria continued down the hall until she entered the large throne room. She ran a hand through her long hair, letting her fingers travel along as the curls wrapped around her fingers loosely. She dropped her hand, a thick sigh escaping her. She just wanted to dissapear. No marriage. She hoped her husband would be kind to her at least. High hopes.
Harper looked to see Lise beside them, and smiled. Swallowing the chunk of bread in their mouth, smirking. "Yeah it's me! I can't believe I pulled it off, I almost lost some feathers." They joked, smiling.
Sierra blinked slowly, and began to fall asleep.

Martial was leaning against the wall, running a hand through his hair. Troye was in front of him, looking worried. The throne room had another exit behind the thrones, mainly used for servants. "What..." Martial just mumbled. Troye sighed. He heard footsteps, and he heard a door open. "I think they're here." Troye whispered, putting a hand on his shoulder. Martial looked up, unsure. "Hey, just go see what this is about, and then we'll figure it out." Troye said with an encouraging smile. Martial sighed.
He stood up straight and walked inside cautiously. He walked around the thrones to see Maria, and bit his lip. "Um... hello there." He said, walking to stand in front of the thrones. He was a mix of angry, confused, and and uncertainty. He wasn't his usual calm self at all. He sat on one of the stairs leading to the platform the thrones were on and he observed Maria, unsure what to think of her.

Harper gave Lise a thumbs up, smiling. They saw her successfully retrieve the food, and giggled. They were glad that she did well. They shifted on the roof, taking another chomp out of the large loaf. They grinned.

Lise smiled and held out an apple. "Want one? I have some other fruits too." She said. It was weird. A while ago, she wouldn't have been willing to bat an eye at another person. Now, she was sharing food that she worked hard to earn. Life was weird.

Lise smiled. "Thank you." She said. She put all the fruit into her bag and left the apple out for herself. She took a bute out of it as she saw the owner of the stall return, completely oblivious to the fact that he was just robbed. Lise grinned. She had become quite good at this over the years.

Troye was standing in front of his father's office, and he cautiously knocked on the door. "Come in." Someone said and he quietly slipped in. He saw his father at his large mahogany desk, a pile of papers in front of him. "Hello Troye. Have a seat." He said. Troye nodded slowly before sitting down, a tad bit nervous.
"Thanks. But you're pretty good too." Lise said with a smile. She checked her watch, one she had stolen a while ago, and frowned. "Hmm, think I have time for one more robbery?" Lise asked.

Oliver jumped at the front door opened. He turned to see his big brother, and smiled. "Hello, Zachary." He hummed. Zach sat next to him, running a hand through his blonde hair. "Evenin', Ollie." He responded, nodding. "What's wrong?" Oliver asked tilting his head. Zach shrugged, "Dad yelled at me because he caught Daniel and I kissing this morning." Oliver laughed. "Wow. That's a hot way to end a kiss." Zach laughed. "Shut up, Oliver."
"Maybe." Harper hummed, nodding as they glanced at Lise's watch. "You probably do, before we have to head back to the hide away." They said, glancing at some shops.

Troye looked his father in the eyes, determined. He quickly explained what was going on and asked what was happening. His father sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Troye, this is what's best for our kingdom. It will unite our two kingdoms. And I'll finally be rid of that nuisance." He said the last part under his breath.. Troye shook his head.
Lise smiled. "Hmm, if I'm smart about this I could maybe get those two stand over there." She said, pointing to two stands that were both abandoned. The owners must have gone on a break.

"Any boys you like, Oli?" Zach asked, flipping his hair. Oliver shook his head. "No man nor woman interests me at the moment, it seems." Oliver was glad he was a good liar. One of the princes, Prince Troye, seemed so very attractive to him. But there were so many things preventing that relationship. Troye was a prince., Oliver a common worker. They lived in a kingdom where you could die if the wrong people discovered your sexuality. "Awe. You'll find someone, you're too cute to not fall in love with." Zach said, patting his back. "Uhm, incest?" Oliver said sarcastically, and Zach giggled. "Dear god."
"You can totally do it, darling. I believe in you." Harper gave Lise double thumbs up, still holding their bread. They yawned softly, rubbing their eyes before looking at the booths Lise was thinking of robbing.

Troye closed the door to his father's office with a sigh. "He wouldn't even hear me out." Troye mumbled, slowly walking back to the throne room. How did Martial feel? He looked out a window, shaking his head. Troye wondered how he would have reacted in this situation.
Lise grinned and quietly disappeared again. She made her way through the shadows until she was in a dark alley between the two stalls. She made sure to check her surroundings before quickly grabbing some food from one stall and jewlery from the ither. "Score." She said with a smile.

Zachary and Oliver sat on the porch, chatting and laughing at one another. "You're so weird." Oliver said, nudging Zach's shoulder. "No weirder than you!" Zach responded, pushing back with a bit more force. They both giggled.
Harper watched, smile on their lips. They crossed their arms, feathers brushing against each other.

Troye quietly slipped into the throne room. He sighed. "Nothing. He wouldn't listen to anything I said." Troye said quietly. Martial quickly let go of Maria hands, a faint red brushing his cheeks. "I'm sorry..." Troye mumbled. Martial shook his head and Troye quickly left the room again, heading straight to his room. He was going to go to town to clear his head.
Lise quickly made her way back to Harper. "Another success. But should get going soon." Lise said with a grin, putting her new finds into her bag.

Oliver huffed. "I have to go to town." He said. Zach nodded. "I have to try to explain to dad why Daniel is a good guy." He said, standing. Oliver nodded to him farewell, and set his book in the basket beside him with his money. He stood, beginning his walk into town. He arrived quite soon, and began passing the booths.
Harper nodded, and picked up their things, placing them in their bag and tying it to their ankle. They sighed. "I'm gonna fly." They hummed, beginning to flap their wings.
