Mat watched as the two rush past him.Wonder what happened?He shrugs and turns to the second left.Miss Ziggy was right it seems.He thinks to himself as he sees two people that seem to be talking to each other.He knocks on the wall next to him so he does not startle either person.

Glitch looks up from her book. "Friend?" She asks, her eyes an almost blinding bright pink.

Beyond looks up. "What?" He snaps.

Olivia glanced at Erich. "I'm gonna go see Beyond too." She said. She quickly followed after Mat, peering into the room around Mat's arm. Erich blinked. "Uhm, Ehu?" He said, glancing at the running creatures then at Ziggy.

Mat flinches slightly at the snap."Um I am one of the new curators-in-training.Miss Ziggy sent me to talk to Mister Beyond.If I am interrupting something I can always come back!"He said quickly while gulping and shifting backwards a bit.

"Well, you are interrupting something, but Hollow would snap my soul if half if she thought I'd missed a chance to interact with humans so..." Beyond stands up, taking the book off Glitch's lap. "Well continue tomorrow, Glitchy."

"Ok, Mistake #4~" Glitch says happily.

"Beyond."

"...Beyond Mistake #4?"

"Forget it, we'll work on it later." Beyond sighs, closing the book. He heads out of the room, closing the door behind him, and motioning for them to follow.

Mat gulps quietly and waves goodbye at Glitch before following after Beyond.He bites at his lip in worry.He hadn't meant to upset anyone.First day on the job and already failing..way to go Mat.

Olivia, silent throughout the encounter, turned to look at Beyond. She glanced at Glitch, but sighed. She began to follow Beyond, light and nervous smile on her thin lips. She glances back at Mat, nervous.

Mat looked over at Olivia and shot her a small smile before looking down at the floor.His crimson hair covered his naturally colorless eyes.He bit at his lip and let out an inaudible sigh.It's alright Mat.Maybe Mister Beyond is just having an off day.Yeah that's probably all it is.He thinks to himself.

Beyond continues down the hall confidently, when Kai bumps into his leg. With a startled squeal, she falls back on her rump, blinking. Ehu manages to skid to a stop to avoid hitting them. "Beyond! Tell Kai to leave me in peace and stop messing up my drawings!"

"Hey, Makani's the peacemaker, not me." Beyond replies. "Go swimming or something, Kai."

Kai snorts, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Kai. Hurian. Now."

Kai huffs and races off, and Beyond continues down the hall, opening another door, this time revealing a cozy bedroom/living room mix. A small, dark wood bed is pushed into the corner, the covers a blue-gray swirled with different designs in silver. The walls are painted dark gray, but you can barely see them through all the papers taped to the wall, each one bearing a beautiful drawing. Colored sketches, uncolored sketches, perfectly finished pencil-shaded masterpieces, all sorts of drawings of all sorts of things. Books are scatters everywhere, some stacked, some bookmarked, even a few lying open. A few plush reading chairs are scattered around a beautiful rug bearing a picture of folded silver wings. "Take a seat wherever." He says, tossing the book he was carrying onto the bed.

Mat quietly slips into the room and sits on the edge of a seat that was closest to the door."Nice room."He says after a few moments of silence.

"Well, yeah, but no one's going to give information to a complete stranger, right? We've developed a system. If the person can befriend one of us, then we'll tell them about ourselves. Why do you think Ziggy hasn't had someone become the next Curator yet?" Beyond replies, flipping through the book.

"Oh.That makes sense sir."Mat said after a few minute."S..Sorry to bother you then sir."With that he bows at Beyond before quickly getting up and leaving the room.As he exists he reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a rubix cube that he starts to fidget with as he absentmindedly walks down the hall.
