Troye looked over at Nyx and turned red, extremely flustered. "Oh I'm terribly sorry darling. I hope I didn't offend you." He said, extremely embarrassed. Lise shook her head. He got very flustered whenever he felt did something wrong to someone.

"Pfft, i'm hiding a few things as well," Arch replied to Izzy, flashing a mischievous smirk to her. Of course, whatever i'm hiding isn't very pleasant but I can deal with it, he thought.

Izzy snorted, shaking her head with a smile on her face. She pulled out the knife from her pocket and started looking at it.

Arch looked at the knife and felt the pang of hunger again, looking away immediately. "Nyx, don't stay in the water too long. You'll get sick," he warned Nyx.

Izzy stared at the knife. It was small, with a slightly curved edge. The handle was black and carelessly wrapped in red. "Does anyone want food? The flood might have drowned something, I'm going hunting."

"If you are, please don't go alone," Arch replied to Izzy. From all I know, going alone can get attacked or lost again, he said in his head.

"I'm gonna be fine. I'm fine with being alone. I'm used to it. That's a story for another time." Izzy said, glancing up at him.

"Fine then," Arch simply said, looking away to hide his worry. Please don't get lost again, he sighed.

"No need to be so.... curt." Izzy said, a slight edge of resent in her voice. She slid down the rock and took off her shoes, so she was bare-footed. She set them on top of the boulder and went into the forest, knife drawn. As she walked, looking for anything to eat, she thought. She thought about how she ran from everything: the coven, her only 'family', from wonderland, from a person whom she trusted. Did she trust this person enough? Was her flee from the coven of good meaning?

Izzy was a girl who was not like the others. The person, she couldn't even think the name because she knew the consequences, the guilt, the fear, the lies. The lies that had created her life. The life her parents were, her mother a heretic, her father a coward. Izzy herself was living a lie, the lie created by her coven. She longed to find freedom, to find s-

Izzy was snapped out of her thoughts by something moving in the trees above. It looked like a bird, sleek and dark winged. Her toes squishing in the mud, she surged forward into the tree, scaling it with practice, and stabbed the bird.

After a bit, all the edible prey in the forest was too water logged, and all she could bring back were a couple of birds. Izzy ended up with a few scratches from the branches, including a big one over her left eyes, and made a mental note to clean it up as she walked back to the camp.

"If you're certain..." Troye said hesitantly. Lise stretched. "Well anyway, we declared that this extra day would be for planning ahead right? So... what do we do?" Lise asked.

Arch wondered when Izzy would get back. Not because he was in love with her but because it was natural for him to care about someone. He used to be in a pack after all and he had to care for everyone.

"I only got some birds.... Sorry..." Izzy sighed, walking back into camp and holding them.

"Better than nothing." Lise said. She jumped down and pulled out her spellbook. She casted a spell that dried the small area ringed by trees they used as a camp. Troye then squeezed Rosa's shoulder before jumping down to help her start a fire.

Arch's ears perked up once he heard Izzy's voice but they soon lowered when he saw her scratches. "Not only did you get some birds but you also got injured," he mumbled.

"You say something?" Izzy asked, looking at Arch, then turning to impale the birds on roasting sticks.

"Yeah, kind of. Are you okay? You have scratches all over," Arch pointed out. Hold on, she's a girl! I can't just point that out, he thought.

"Oh. Oh yeah. About that..." Izzy smiles awkwardly. She dips her fingers in some water and starts rubbing at the blood. "It's really not that big of a deal! No need to worry!" She says, hiding the stinging pain that she felt in a forced smile as the scratches kept bleeding.

"That's good then," Arch said but continued to worry about the one big scratch on her left eye. "You should treat the one on your left eye though. It doesn't look good," he pointed out, hoping that he didn't seem like a creep.
