Ricky began to change shrinking till he was two feet tall as cloth became flesh, buttons becoming eyes, and string becoming his smile. Threads emerged from all his joints, twenty four to be precise as he hit the ground. A moment later a wooden piece was attached to the strings and the doll began to get up.
