"Off to your Elemental classes then. Try to keep from freaking out
on your first day. And please go to your separate towers, I know
some of you are friends, but Flyers do not belong with Lighters."
Amby says.
Lise got up and Troye after her. Lise looked at him. "Do you have
any clue what your power is?" She asked. He nodded. "I think so.
Well, I'll see you later dear." He said with a casual wave. Lise
waved back and headed to her first class, sitting near the door.
Troye stopped in front of his classroom talking to some of the
girls who had been here longer than he had.
Nyx sighed and got up to go to the telepathy tower."Off to black
star I go."She muses while slinging her backpack back on.She
glances down at her left wrist and smiles at her birth mark that
was barely peeking out from under her sleeve.She makes it to her
classroom after a few minutes and smiles slightly at seeing Lise
there as well.She sits in the corner desk in the room and gets out
a notebook and pencil so she could take notes.
Lise smiled back at Nyx and pulled out a different book, this one
on architecture, which is what she had wanted to study. Troye
meanwhile had been dragged over to an even larger group of girls
and was extremely flustered. He wasn't sure how to react to the
sudden outpour of attention, and some of the other guys in the
classroom were giving him very scary looks. He quickly pulled out
his phone and texted a quick Help to Lise. She heard her
phone buzz and glanced at it, chuckling when she saw the text. They
had only been seperated for a few minutes.
Sugar walked off, heading to the tower with the red lick of flame.
[i]I wonder if anyone else is in the same class as me. Stepping
into the classroom, she sat at the table the furthest away from
others who were already there. With that, she took out a small
notepad and drew a dragon, her favorite fictonal animal.
"Asriel, I advise not practicing your transmitting skills on the
first day." Says an older girl, maybe 22, with chocolatey brown
hair and blue eyes as she walks into the telepathy classroom,
Asriel following.
"I make no promises." Asriel says with a grin.
The girl sighs. "All right, welcome to being a Telepath. Hope you
all don't turn out like him." She tilts her head towards
Asriel.
Izzy walks into the Pyrokinetic classroom confidently, dropping a
book on the desk in the front of the room. "Hello. Nie's a little
late today, as usual, so the lesson might be slightly delayed."
Nyx looks up and raises an eyebrow at Asriel.That's right Miss
Amby said he was a telepath as well.She muses to herself.She
hums a bit before shrugging and going back to creating a small
puzzle for herself to solve at a later date.
Troye managed to get away from the group and sat far away from
them, towards the door. He pulled out his phone again and put his
earbuds in, scrolling through his library, eventually settling on a
Shawn Mendes song. Lise chuckled when the two of them came in. It
was just like her with Troye.
Delayed? Well that's just boring, Sugar thought and began
spinning a pencil in the meanwhile. The first day was already
boring for her as she had no friends in the academy along with the
fact that she didn't bother to make some.
Zia walks up to the door of the Cryokinetics classroom, unlocking
it silently. "In." She says shortly, pushing it open and looking at
the other Cryokinetics with a raised eyebrow.
"So, first off, Telepaths do not have complete control of the mind.
Do not act like the best if you aren't. And please, avoid fighting
with the Lighters, despite the silly feud they have." The girl
says.
"So, since Nie's not here..." Izzy sits on the desk. "Who knows
what Pyrokinetics is?"
Sugar raised a hand and didn't bother to allow her to pick,
immediately speaking. "Pyrokinetics is the ability to heat up the
air or set items on fire. In other words, it's the ability to
control fire," she said with barely any emotion or effort.
Nyx stopped making her puzzle and started to take notes.She goes to
raise her hand to ask a question but decides against it.I wonder
what the limit for a telepath is?"She thinks to herself while
biting her lip.
Jacob, having his stuff still with him since he was kinda late,
looked at the other Cryokinetic.
''guessing no one has time to put they're stuff in they're
dorm's...?'' he asked.
~~~~~
Wisteria made her way to the Animas tower and hummed to
herself. i wonder if they're will be some nice people here... hopefully
there is.. she thought.
Troye quickly sat down and bowed his head, still wary of the other
Cyrokinetics. He quickly took his earbuds out but didn't put his
phone away. He had exchanged numbers with one of the nicer girls
and was currently texting her. Meanwhile, Lise was curious about
the feud with the Lighters. She would havento do some research
later.
"It's not silly. It goes back for almost a hundred years." Asriel
objects.
"Shush, you're one of the people in the feud, everyone knows you
hate Beyond. Telepaths have no limit except the limit of their
minds. The easier it is for you to think of your mind as an
extension of you, the faster you can master our abilities." The
girl says.
Zia walks into the Cryokinetics classroom. "I'll be instructing
today, since Onia isn't here. One condition, if I ask a question,
the answer must be in a sentence. No longer. So, Cryokinetics is
considered the companion to Pyrokinetics. Does anyone have a guess
of which abilities has a more likely chance of producing twins with
Cryokinetics and Pyrokinetics?"
"Wonderful, but if you don't wait for me to call on you next time
you'll be reading history books in the hall." Izzy says.
Sugar shrugged and smirked, History is probably better than
staying in this class waiting for someone who isn't even going to
come by. She continued spinning her pencil, waiting for the
next sentence or question.
"Pyrokinetics were one of the most feared abilities out there for a
long time. When other abilities faded into nothing, Pyrokinetics
was swamped by Telepathy and Light. We are still feared, however,
if we are strong. Does anyone know why?" Izzy asks.
Troye had no clue what the answer to Zia's question was. He
normally knew the answers to questions, but he never really
bothered to answer. But in this case, he had no clue. He texted the
girl, Thalia, to ask if she knew, and she replied saying that his
guess was as good as hers. Lise took notes of what she thought was
important. She already thought of her mind as a part of her. This
should be easy.
since Jacob got no answer he simply went and sat down, putting his
stuff in front of his desk.
he leaned against the desk and thought for a moment.
''would that be the Cryokinetics....?'' he asked, since it was a
guess.
~~~~~
Wisteria stopped at the classroom for the Animas ability holder's
and looked at the door. is class not started yet or..... is no one here yet.... she
asked herself in her head.
