Nyx started to giggle while Loli peeked her head in the door."Sander what are you doing now?Magi and Angel just went to bed and Night is out hunting in the woods."

"Well, I was going to bed, but this house erased my room, so I had to sleep somewhere!" Oksander cried as he lept to his feet, his hair flying all over the place. As he stood there a door appeared by Phantasos' bed. Oksander cried with delight when he saw the name Oksander W. W. engraved in it. "My room!" Oksander quickly flew into the room and slammed the door. With a groan, the house moved the door into the hallway.

"Well...I guess that fixes everything...Why is Night hunting?" Phantasos asked Loli. "Isn't it late? Shouldn't she be asleep?"

"Ah Night doesn't actually sleep.Being a demon and all makes it to where she doesn't have to.So during the night while we all are asleep she hunts and tends to the garden we have out back."Loli explained."That makes sense."Nyx muses."Well I shall let you two sleep.Good night and sweet dreams."Loli says while shutting the door."Night Mama."

"Goodnight Mum." Phantasos, for the third time, settled back down into bed. "Wait...then...Anubis!"

"What!" Anubis whined.

"You don't...sleep?" Phantasos looked at the demon.

"Of course not! But it's nice to pretend!" Anubis then said nothing else.

Phantasos shrugged before finally falling asleep.

Nyx hummed and silently slipped into Phantasos bed.She hummed slightly and fell asleep curled into his side.

Phantasos blinked as the morning light shone in his eyes. He looked down at Nyx's peaceful face. He was used to to her slipping into his bed, so it wasn't as frightening as a full grown man popping out from under your bed. Carefully trying not to wake Nyx, Phantasos slipped out of the bed. He gingerly walked over to the door and opened it. Slipping out into the hallway, he decided to begin exploring.

Night was just coming in from the garden out back.She happily hummed as she set up the stuff to make the family breakfast.Omelets would be good.And some strawberries for Nyx of course.She thinks to herself while putting a kettle on to make some tea.Her ears twitched as one of her children whispered to her that the boy was up.

Walking down the hall, Phantasos stopped before a crooked oil painting of the mansion. Annoyed by the un-tidiness of the picture, Phantasos reached out and tried fixing the frame, but it wouldn't budge. Trying harder, he cried with agitation as the frame remained crooked. Sighing, Phantaso touched the picture softly, the figures of Loli, Night, Magi, Angel, and Oksander smiling back at him. He then gasped when suddenly, a small version of him appeared beside Magi. "What...in...the ...world?"

Night smiled and took two cups of tea with her and shadow traveled to where Phantasos was."I see you found the family painting."She says with a small smile."Want some tea?"She offered him the second cup of tea while taking a sip from her own.

Phantasos looked up at Night. "Um...yeah...Thanks..." He took the cup and took a sip. "Night...um...last night...Magi and Angel...took slivers of our skin...but...they didn't dig into us and chew off our fingers like real cannibals do?" Phantasos watched as his small self waved from the painting before grabbing hold of Magi's hand. "Everyone is so loving...I feel unworthy...I also wonder...why were we chosen...I mean I know why we were chosen..." Phantasos looked over at Night before continueing, "but why were we chosen?" He took another sip from his tea as he watched the figures interacting in the painting.

Night tapped the side of her cup with her finger."Let's see here how to explain.First off Magi and Angel have their reasoning for what they did last night.You see in a way they were marking you as theirs.Magi has claimed you as her little brother and she has quite the name attached to her.She is very well respected in the cannibal community.Angel,I am guessing here do not quote me on this,has claimed Nyx as a mate.That is actually quite the high praise.Your twin is lucky.Now why you were chosen is because there was something..special about you two.We can't put our finger on what but there was something there.Something that told us that having you and Nyx as apart of this family would be the greatest thing we have ever done.We were also tired though.Tired of being alone.Loli is the last of her kind,I was cast out of hell,and Magi and Angel only had each other when we came together,and poor Oksander is slowly dying due to his magic.We all are misfits looking for somewhere we can call home and we found it here in this mansion with a mind of its own."She takes a sip of her tea and watches the family painting.

Phantasos just stood there. "Well I guess that makes a bit more sense...but Nyx...Angel...She's only 15!" Phantasos was ready to defend his sister. "And I thought Angel was like...our sister!" Phantasos thought the situation was getting creepier by the minute. "Whatever...I don't want to get on a cannibal's bad side." Phantasos gulped down the rest of his tea, and while setting down his cup, he looked back up at Night. "Miss Night...Do you have the slightest clue why we are special?"

Night just laughed at Phantasos protective side."First off there is only like two years between Angel and Nyx and also Angel was never adopted by Loli so technically the only siblings you have are Magi and Nyx.As for why you are special not a bloody clue."

Phantasos stopped twirling, tipping slightly. "Yeah...I guess. What are you going to do!"

"I could crawl into their beds, open their eyes and scream 'FIRE!'" Anubis exclaimed as he came skipping up to Night and Phantasos.

"Anubis! Go back to the room! You're still grounded!" Phantasos shouted, kicking Anubis down the hall.

"Fine! I'm going back...but only because I have to listen to you!" Anubis cried from further down the hall.

"I apologize!" Phantasos said to Night as turned back to face her. "What was it you were planning?"

"Water balloons filled with paint is fine." Phantasos told Night as he opened the drawer to a dresser that had just appeared. "That's...wow..." Phantasos murmured as he pulled out a pair of men's boxers. "Um...why is there a room in here?" Phantasos asked Night as he crawled through the drawer, landing in a circular shaped room filled with bowels of all kinds.
