Nyx gulps and walks forward to the platform. She looks around and
tilts her head as she hears what sounds like a gale blowing and
whispering. She closes her eyes and follows the sound of the wind.A
part of the floor lights up a slate blue color. She looks over at
Miss Bellwether for confirmation on which house this was."Welcome
to Caniento child."
Oliver had followed close behind, visibly shivering. His heart was
pounding as he glanced at the other. His throat felt dry. He balled
his hands into fists and relaxed them. He was basically doing all
that he could to stay calm. He bit the inside of his cheek too.
Oksander looked at Nyx, his deep eyes seemingly searching her.
Oksander's thoughts were interupted when Bellwether shouted,
"Oksander Crump!" Oksander stepped forward, his knees shaking.
Oksander stepped up onto the platform and closed his eyes. A faint
whisper called in his ear, but he could hear another sound. It
sounded like a tree groaning...but Oksander thought the whispering
was pretty. It was soft, peaceful, dreamy. Oksander focussed on the
whispering. Slowly, the platform turned a lavender color. Oksander
opened his eyes and looked at Bellwether. "Welcome to Tapiriuss,
dreamer." Bellwether then called for Oliver Hymun.
Oliver glanced at Casey momentarily, giving a nervous smile. "I
hope..." He murmured, and looked back. He jumped at his name. He
padded up to the platform, visibly shaking. He heaved a soft sigh,
closing his blue eyes. He was hit with two noises.... Wait, two? He
gulped. The noises were kinda similar, sure. But he heard two
nonetheless. A gale blowing and a dream's whispering. He leaned
side to side lightly, trying to hear one over the other. But the
blowing faded. The whisper remained, and seemed so appealing. He
laughed lightly as the platform turned lavender again. He opened
his eyes, stepping off the platform. He looked around at the
others.
Nyx looked over at Oskander and Oliver and gave them a small thumbs
up before she went to the bathroom to change into her school
uniform. She put it on and watched as it went all the way to her
ankles."Eh.I..I may have to fix t..this."She mutters to herself
before walking back out to the others.
Bellwether nodded. "Very good, go join Mr. Crump and the other
Tapiriuss'." Bellwether then looked back down at her list. "Casey
Crawjirda!" Oksander smiled at Oliver before heading towards the
Boy's Restrooms to change.
Casey, standing tall, stepped onto the platform and closed her
eyes. She heard it faintly at first, but the sound of the wolverine
got louder. The platform turned grey and she opened her eyes,
nodding.
Oliver grabbed the boy's uniform, heading to the bathroom. He slid
it on, and sighed. He had a smal frame, so the pants barely hung on
his hips. Plus, he would much rather wear the female's outfit. He
felt awkward wearing a masculine outfit. He swallowed. He supposed
he could deal with it. He slid on a belt, which helped. He buttoned
the shirt, and let out a disappointed sigh. He hated this.
Bellwether looked down at her list and shouted, "Corelina Swift!"
Bellwether looked up and waited for the girl to step out of the
thinning crowd of First-year students.
Corrie stepped up, looking excited. Unlike the others, she didn't
seem nervous at all. She pratically skipped as she headed on the
round platform where everyone would get sorted, wondering which
house she'd enter.
Almost as soon as she had stepped foot on the platform, she heard
two sounds. A wolverine growling, and a gale blowing. That was
surprising, she had expected to be sorted into Tapirrus like most
of her family, but apparently that was not the case.
Both sounds were equally loud to her, but there was one difference.
The growling became softer and softer as time went on, while the
Gale became even louder. In the end, the platform flashed blue.
Corrie grinned as she realized she had just been sorted into
Caniento.
The girl headed to her house, pausing to wave at her brother,
James, who was still waiting to be sorted.
Nyx grinned and waved slightly at Corrie. It seemed there was going
to be someone else that would be joining her as a first year
Caniento. She bounced slightly wondering who would be called next.
Bellwether nodded, the children seemed happy so far. "Um...James?"
Bellwether looked at her list. "It just says James...anybody here
by the name James?" Bellwether sighed, her face showing her
impatience.
(Oops I forgot to write his back name. Its swift by the way)
James strode up to the Platform, looking completely unfazed. If
anyone looked really closely however, they would see that was not
the case. He was fidgetung slightly, a sign he was nervous.
He had barely set foor on the stage when he heard a noise. It was
the sound of a great oak groaning, as if in pain. That meant only
one thing...
James was proven right when the platform flashed green. Smiling
slightly, the teen headed to his designated house.
