She pointed the sword at her mother, filled with anger, sadness, fear, worry....

"Lucina? W-what are you..."

"Mother! You murder my father in the future.... and I have no choice but to kill you!"

"What are you saying? I would never kill him?"

"I was unsure too, but when I realized.... you are at Validar's mercy..."


"Do what you must, Lucina...."


Tears begin to fall down Lucina's face. She hides her face, praying for the memories to stop.

Nyx watched the candy make its way to Loli."Well it seems you are getting use to Nights powers hmm Nyx?"Loli asks as she takes the sweet out of the air and twirls it in her hand."Y..Yes mama."Nyx says after bounding to Loli."That is good but you have lessons with your father right now my silly strawberry."Loli says before tossing the sweet back at Ricky.

"Nothing." Lucina says, forcing herself to sound tired.

"Godspeed, Mother." Raising the sword.

He ran in, a force of guilt and despair.

He knocked the sword down, desperate.


"Enough, Lucina! She and I have held fast through good times and ill... We swore to be two halves of a greater whole. You underestimate the strength of those ties, the bonds we share. I believe in them more than some foretold 'destiny.'"

"Mother, Father! Please forgive me! I-I only wanted.... t-to... help...."

Him stroking her hair, forgiving.

Her arms, forgiving.

She wept, guilty.

"Not ok then." Asriel says, his fingers lightly touching her shoulder. A new rush of memories push out Lucy's bad ones. Happier memories.

A slightly younger-looking Asriel holding up an even younger girl that looks almost exactly like him, except with longer hair and bright blue eyes. She places a beautiful flower crown on his head, smiling at him, and after a moment, he smiles back.

A cat-like creature with two sets of wings and ribbon-like tails backing up along a thin beam high above a field of rust-colored grass, Asriel carefully following her, speaking softly, motioning for the frightened creature to come to him.

Asriel, the little girl from before, and an older-looking boy similar to the former but with deep red eyes laying in the grass, gazing at the stars.

"Better?" Asriel asks.

"I.. don't know... I lost it. It all came back... I still fill so guilty, Asriel! I didn't do it and yet I feel like I did--!" Lucy says, half-yelling, half-sobbing.

Then she let go of control, letting it all loose.



"L-Lucina! Please! Don't... don't leave me!"

The time she had killed them all.

The time she knew that she was going to die, but lives were taken for hers.

The time she stopped the Assassin, ruining herself.

When she kissed Asriel.

When she confronted Grimakos.

"I'm... so sorry... I didn't mean for you to see my memories..."

"It's ok, here..." Asriel's fingertips glow and one of his memories pushes forwards, keeping all others away. A little girl, maybe 10, with red-brown curls like Echo to her shoulders, and kind black eyes, signing I love you with her hands. "Focus on that. Only on that. Don't let any other memories come in, ok?" Asriel says gently.

"Thank... you..." Lucy says, focusing on the girl's eyes. She shifts her foot inward to her other foot, keeping warm, sighing as she felt the load of her memories fall back.
