"Bye bye Mister Ricky.See you soon."Nyx said while slightly waving
at his retreating figure."Now then where was I..ah yes."She mutters
before dipping her pencil back in her blood and continuing to
outline how her room would look.
James looked Sabine over once, noting with interest the calm
expression on her face. She could definitely hide her emotions
well. "Okay, sure. just don't break anything." It was a good thing
he had expected this. He smirked behind his helmet, his eyes
searching for any weakness he could find in Sabine's mental armor.
Nyx finishes the part of the wall she was working on."That's enough
for now."She mutters while wiping her pencil off on her
pants."Thank God for black pants."She mutters before dropping her
pencil back into her bag.She then drops down onto her bed and hold
her arm up to her mouth so she could suck on the cut she made.
James gripped the bag in his hand, wondering what made Sabine frown
like that. She couldn't possibly have discerned his false book from
the rest. Even if she had, she would have had to open it to see the
tools he had hidden within. He cautiously followed her, memorizing
the halls he walked through.
Ricky smiled at James, "Ah, a newbie. You know Sabine, they say the
blood from one who is new tastes better. Did you happen to know
that?"
"No...no sir...I didn't know that." Sabine replied trying to move
past him causing him to smile widely making her shiver, "Well...I
have...to show him his cell, and take him and the others on tour of
the facility so they can navigate through it."
Ricky smiled at James, "I think janitor duty is in store for one as
lowly as him, wouldn't you agree Sabine?"
"I gue...guess. Come on, we need to go." Sabine stammered,
"Have...a goo...good day."
James grinned. He finally had eyes on the prize, so to speak. And
even better, with the mobility and freedom of being a janitor, he
could gather Intel and practice his knife-work. "Thank you, oh
humble one. I shall complete my duties to my utmost extent." He
hoped he was not buttering the prize up too much, but he had to at
least make it want him out of it's sights.
Nyx sat in the middle of her cell humming a silly little tune. Her
cut had stopped bleeding causing her to huff slightly."Always sucks
when it stops bleeding.Stupid Angel and Magi. Why did they have to
be cannibals? Now they have me addicted to blood."She sighs as if
sadden by this fact before a wide grin stretches across her
face."Oh well.Maybe eventually I can get Mister Ricky to share some
blood he gets with me."She mutters while scratching at her neck
through her scarf.
Ricky raised his eye brow. "The correct term is mister or master
and know need to be a kiss up. Might have fallen for it, but well
you tried too hard, so yeah...Sabine is better at being a kiss up
properly."
"Reall...really?" Sabine stammered looking a prideful.
"No, not really. As if you could be a kiss up with...with
your...stamm...ering." Ricky replied darkly before frowning,
"Alright, imitating you may have crossed the line. Sorry. Carry
on."
"Rig...right. Onward to Nyx and then your tour." Sabine replied
trying not to feel to hurt over his mockery. She wouldn't feel so
bad if it wasn't so true.
James cringed slightly when the prize had put down his follower,
but Sabine seemed to not care. But this was the perfect chink in
the guard's armor. Now, to just widen that chink... As James
followed Sabine, he said "If I may ask, who is this Nyx?"
"She is...odd to say the say the least. Kind, and killed out of
defense." Sabine replied calmly, "Well here is...my...my cell."
Sabine said pointing to a cell with a TV, lap top, gaming devices,
and lots of manga and anime discs on a shelf. Posters for Black
Butler, Charlotte, Psycho Pass, and many other anime lined the
wall. Her bed was was decorated in blue and resting on it was
purple pajamas.
She then pointed to cell across the hall, "That is Ricky's
cell."
A single torch illuminated the dark room. One of the walls was
lined with huge clothes racks carrying many Victorian suits. A
grandfather clock chimed letting them know it was ten o'clock at
day. In a cabinet held lots of wine. At the center of the room sat
a coffin made of the finest wood. Next to it was a throne made out
of obsidian.
"Well, take a cell." Sabine offered, "The one on the right of
Ricky's cell belongs to Nyx."
Nyx tilted her head when she heard her name so she dropped her
pencil on the bed and went to her door. She opened it enough to poke
her head out."Was I called?"She asked blinking at the duo.
"Oh...yes! I...will take you on a tour of the prison when James
leaves his stuff in his cell." Sabine replied smiling warmly at
Nyx, and waving her over.
"Alrighty."Nyx says happily while walking out of her cell. She
closed it and walked over to Sabine."I was just decorating my room
a little bit.Be good to take a break."She stretches,forgetting
about the cut on her arm.
"Oh my gosh! What happened?" Sabine asked rushing across the hall
to get the first aid kit and back at Nyx, "Hold still! Or squeeze a
chair or something. Just let me clean the wound and bandage it up.
This is bad."
"Huh?"Nyx says confused at first before she got what Sabine was
talking about."Oh this.As I said I was decorating my room.I
couldn't see the lines I was making so I improvised."She says with
a shrug to her shoulders.
"No.It's extremely normal...at least for me."Nyx said blinking a
few times. She was confused as to why Sabine was freaking out.It was
just a cut, nothing more nothing less.
"A deep cut. Hopefully you don't need stitches." Sabine replied
looking at the bandages hearing Ricky laugh from behind her.
"All that yelling for nothing. She is fine. A survivor Nyx is, you
can tell by her eyes. It will take more than cut to hurt her. Yes,
over reacting Sabine."
