"Why don't you quiz her then, Oliver?" Casey challenged before stuffing another waffle into his face. Shayla snorted. "Don't challenge him like that unless you can do better, which you can't, I assure you." Casey looked offended but couldn't respond because of the waffle in his mouth.

"Hamlet," Shayla replied, glancing at Casey, "and I only know that because you and I have seen it and they did that at our showing." "What famous Disney Movie franchise is notorious for basing its movies on Shakespeare plays?" "The Lion King, the first one is based on Hamlet and the second on Romeo & Juliet. I sincerely doubt this'll be on my test though."

"Yep." Oliver murmured. He blinked. "The school musical is Romeo and Juliet, I believe. I think... I think I'm gonna try out for Juliet. I can sing higher pitched." He quipped. He swallowed, shrugging. "Probably won't get it, though." He said, voice softer and self conscious. He shifted, examining a blueberry in between his fingers.

Casey paused in eating his waffle and rolled his eyes. He swallowed and shook his head. "If they don't take you it'll be a total sham. If you can play the part you can play the part. Just practice. Don't just show up and expect to get it, you feel me?" Casey smirked a little. "We're all rooting for you."

Oliver smiled at Casey, nodding. "Yeah. Thanks. I've practiced all of the lines, not just Juliet's... Ya know, just in case?" He smiled a bit wider. "I love being on stage, right? In middle school I did a ton of musicals. Eighth grade year I was Gabriella in High Scho Musical." He said, smiling.

Oliver smiled up at Lise. "Trying for Juliet?" He asked, tilting his head. He plopped the blueberry in his mouth, and chewed. He swallowed softly, and coughed. His body shivered as he coughed, but he straightened. He coughed into his hands, tears slipping into his eyes. He finished the fit, and sighed.

"Wow your school let you do that?" Casey asked at Oliver's mention of High school Musical. "Our middle school would have never allowed that." Shayla nodded. "Very strict with gender roles and such," she added. Shayla looked at Lisa and smiled. "You should try out for whatever part you want! Whatever suites you best. Maybe both of you can get parts, even if there is only one Juliet. It would be cool to watch you both." Casey looked over at oliver. "You okay?" he asked.

Corrie looked around and tried not to bite her nails. James had always said it was a bad habit, even if it did her no harm. Chipped nails didn't count. At least to her.

There was nowhere to sit. She shouldn't have arrived so late, but she had been delayed. Now most of the seats were occupied and she didn't know what to do. It was at that moment she spotted an empty chair some ways off.

Corrie walked over. "Hey! Is someone sitting here?"

Oliver shook his head at Casey. "Oh, no. The girl playing Gabrella locked herself in the bathroom. She refused to come out. Since I was the only one who knew the lines, I was allowed to play the part." He explained, coughing once more. He smiled at Lisa, nodding. "Yep! You should go for it! You'd do great!" He said, smiling.

((My apologies on the delays. Just got out on Spring Break so I've been traveling around quite a bit.))

"Sorry to say that I didn't feel bad for her." Oliver jumped for a second, realizing how rude that sounded. "Wait, but not because I'm selfish or anything, it's just she kinda deserved it. She refused to come out because she had to kiss the boy playing Troy and she didn't want to embarass herself by 'wasting a kiss of a lowlife like him'." He used his fingers to make air quotations. "The guy playing Troy was one of my friends, so I had no problem kissing him. He was a cutie anyway. Also, the girl was a big bully. Mean." Oliver explained it all, smiling a bit. He had to admit, he had a crush on that friend of his.

"Do not wish ill on those who inflicted pain on you in the past," Shayla said simply. "You gotta remember, Oliver, Shayla's not the grudging type. She doesn't wish ill will on anybody," Casey pointed out before eating another bite of his waffle. Shayla smiled a bit. "It's true. It's pointless to think lowly of someone if all it does is put more pain into their life whether or not you realize or mean it."
