Adra had left her home out side of Lake-town in which she grew up
in, deciding it was time for her to search out and find a company
of dwarfs who were trying to reclaim their home. She hoped to be
accepted by them even though she was only a half dwarf. She rode a
coal colored mare. Her brown braids flying behind her. She was the
size of a normal dwarf but not quite as round. After riding for
what seemed like hours she realized she might be lost. Stopping by
a small body of water she led her mare for a drink before tying her
up to a smaller tree.
She walked around finding branches to start a fire. Once it was
started she looked around before opening one of her many bags
eating on some food she had packed. Pulling out a bottle of ale she
drank on it letting out a small burp. Stretching she went and layed
by her mare feeding her an apple. "I hope this journey is worth
it." She said before falling asleep.
She awoke after sleeping a few hours. The sun was about to set. She
gave her mare a pat. "We'll continue soon." Deciding to take a swim
she disrobed until she was in her under clothes and jumped in.
"Just think soon I'll know more about the dwarfs. I'm sure father
was wrong. They might accept me."
She got out and got redressed. Getting on her mare she headed
towards Bree. Once she got there she decided to stay at the Inn.
Upon entering everybody had already started talking about her what
was the seemingly dwarvish woman doing at a place like this? Why
does a woman who appears dwarvish not look like the women of lore?
Had anyone actually seen a dwarvish woman? Could they tell the
difference?
