"It's alright. We should head the Pokecenter now before I collapse from exhaustion," Riko joked and dragged Venus to the Pokecenter.

Venus laughed a little.She was happy that Riko was able to get her to laugh.She looked down at there conjoined hands.This was something she definitely missed.It also made her have a scence of dejavu about the day after they all began their journey.She smiles slightly and squeezes Riko's hand in a sign of gratitude.

Riko smiled and finally dragged her enough to the Pokemon Center. "You should sit down Venus. I'm going to heal my pokemon," Riko instructed and took out five of her pokeballs, leaving the last one out to make sure no one finds out about it. She went up to Nurse Joy and gave her five pokeballs to her. She saw her pokemon flash on the screen before they got healed and took her pokeballs back once they were done healing.

"Excuse me miss, but you're missing one pokeball. Do you want me to heal that one as well?" Nurse Joy asked.

Riko winced before answering. "No, it's fine. That one's already at full health," she answered. Nurse Joy just nodded and asked for the next person in line.

"I'm back," Riko told Venus, sitting next to her.

Venus pops one eye open."Welcome back."She was somewhat laying in the chair.In all honesty she could go for a message on her lower back where her pins were.She sits up properly in her seat wincing at the poping sound her back makes."So what now?"

"Let's wait for Drake and Selena to get out," Riko suggested. "I have to go somewhere for a bit. Stay here," Riko commanded and walked off. "I'll come back in a few minutes," Riko assured Venus before walking off into the woods to attend to some "business."

Venus made a sound of agreement before closing her eyes.After a few minutes she feels someone tap her shoulder.She opens her eyes to see a Nurse Joy."I'm sorry to interupt you but are you by any chance Venus Dreyar?"Venus nodds knowing what this could be about."If you don't mind I would like to check on your back."She just sighs before standing up ignoring the pain that accompanies it.She follows the Nurse Joy to the back room where she does a few tests.By the end she is ready to cry."I'll let you have a few minutes to collect yourself sweet heart.Do you want me to go see if your friend is out there."The kind Nurse Joy asks.All Venus could do is nod."Also send her back if she is."She says as an after thought.Venus is laying on a bed with her top off.On her back is multiple scars but the biggest one was cause by the Aqua Tail that hit her.

Riko ran out of the Pokecenter and into a forest where no one would even consider checking in. "The trees are high enough," Riko mumbled and sent out the Legendary of Death, Yveltal. The Legendary perched on the stump that they were thrown on and looked at Riko with cold eyes. "When will you become an egg again?" Riko asked. The Yveltal just turned its head, showing that it refuses to. Riko went up to it and petted the embodiment of death before sending it into its pokeball.

Why do I have to keep this, Riko sighed. If only Team Flare didn't exist, Riko continued.

(before anyone asks, i am not going to give it into battle. it's nothing but a side character that riko wishes she didn't have to catch)

The Nurse Joy walked into the back room before backing out.She felt sorry for the poor girl whose back looks like it has been through a war.She decided to give the poor thing as much time as she needed before going back to the front and witing for the girl's friend to walk back.

Venus had fallen asleep in the backroom.Her face showed streaks of tears.She didn't want to tell the others but just walking from one town to another was torture for her anymore.I guess that was the payment for rushing instead of properly taking care of herself.

"Yes she is in the backroom.If you'll follow me I'll take you to her.I had to check on her back you see and I think the pain ended up making her pass out."Nurse Joy said guiding Riko back to where Venus was.Venus had woke up and was trying to get up but the pain was still there.She hears the door open and sees the Nurse Joy and Riko."Ello." She says waving a bit at the two.

Venus caught her shirt and quickly threw it back on.She then laid back down on the bed."You know this bed is really comfy."She says after a minute or two.She wasn't lying.For a PokeCenter bed it really was comfortable."Did you know I was never suppose to walk again?All the doctors kept saying that.Hehe looks like I can still prove people wrong even in another region."

"I should..but it feels wrong to stay in one place.After what happened in Kalos I feel like if I stay in one place to long I risking something bad happening."Venus said after a moment of silence."The Nurse Joys hated the fact that I wouldn't stay still.They wanted me to wait another 5 years before leaving to another region.I couldn't do that though.Not with the memories.I couldn't even bring myself to walk through Lumiose City."Venus could feel tears spring to her eyes."I'm sorry I didn't try to find a way to contact you or anyone else.In a way I was scared.I was scared I would somehow hurt you all by telling you I was alive.I'm sorry for being selfish..so very very sorry."By this time Venus was silently crying.She felt bad for not telling anyone that she had survive the disaster.

"You would hurt us with the fact you're alive? That's absolute nonsense as we would all like you alive. Even you saw what happened in the disaster, we all mourned. Your life matters to all of us, Venus. Don't let the disaster get the best of you," Riko spoke quietly. Riko pulled off one of her gloves to reveal her blank hand, stained by nothing. "Excuse me, Nurse Joy can you please leave the room for a second?" Riko asked.

Nurse Joy nodded and left.

"I'm actually hiding something from you and everyone else," Riko said quietly. Riko pulled a Masterball out of her bag with her ungloved hand and showed it to Venus. "Meet Yveltal," Riko spoke quietly in shame.

Venus looked over at Riko.She smiled softly before looking at the pokeball."Isn't Yveltal the pokemon you cught during the disaster?"She asked reaching out and gently stroking the pokeball.She could feel something from inside it but it felt wrong.Almost like touching someone who was dead.She shivered before withdrawing her hand.It reminded her a lot of when she met Him.

"You're right, I caught it during the disaster," Riko smiled as well. "I could have released it but I had to keep it. If Team Flare came back, they would take it again," Riko told Venus. "Don't tell anyone about Yveltal. I know they'll talk about it constantly and it'll be revealed," Riko bit her tongue, "and i'll have to battle using it."
