The Chikorita approached the Houndoom, realizing that he wasn't noticed. He got closer quietly, clinging to a tree with his golden vines. His bright eyes stared at the blue and red Houndoom, aware of his weird colours.

Flame had watched behind Grace what just happened. She looked down at the hole, worrying. "Why were those Graveler so mad?" She thought. "Maybe I should go down.." She very slowly flew down the hole, being careful.

Hadrian landed and followed Grace curiously. He saw all the gravelers and groaned. They can be super hard to deal woth

Topaz followed the fox pokemon , He was able to face a 3 headed dragon and not even flinch with fright! Thats really brave. When she arrived she did not seen the fox pokemon , just a hole in ground and a small bird pokemon and dragon that just flew in "Heh, Troubles i guess... Lets give it a try!" She said and curled to the ball and then rolled into the hole but she made sure to not hit other pokemons

Grace heard noises behind him.. He was now a bit scared.. This deep and alone without help..
Then suddenly the Hydreigon appears..
"Hey~! You? Thanks for coming! I need help here.. One of our friends, muchlax, is kidnapped by these gravelers" He said

He nodded. He sighed and threw a bag of berries that were very delicious. He had been saving them but he hoped the gravelers would take them and back off

Topaz rolled further into the tunnels until she seen pokemons she saw bafore. She jumped into the air and uncurled. When she landed on ground she walked closer to others "Hey, Some troubles? Oh , Berries!" She quickly grabbed one berry with her snout and put it in her mouth

Maxis was absorbed in his thoughts, but a new scent nearby caught his attention. His head shot up, his red eyes locking on the Chikorita. Something was different about it, it was golden instead of the normal green. Is this Chikorita like me? he thought.

"H-Hi, mysterious Houndoom!" He heard the oddly colored Chikorita say. Is it scared of me? One part of him hoped not, but the other part told him the Chikortia should be afraid of him. He was a Houndoom. "Hello, little Chikorita." was all that he said, flicking his tail. Should I eat it? His mind wandered No.. I shouldn't.. he decided.

Tsuno was surprised that the Houndoom even greeted him, rather than attacking. "I hope you aren't in the mood to attack me, because I was just on my way to see family. I don't mean to be a bother at all, I swear! I just tripped and I wanted to apologize if you were hunting and I distracted you. I- I'll be on my way."

The Chikorita made his exit, only to trip over his feet and get tangled in his vines. "Oops," he remarked.

He looked and saw all the gravelers fighting over the berries. He then flew off hoping that it had worked. He saw an odd colored houndoom and chikorita. He started flying in circles above them

"To see your family? Well, carry on then. I have no intention of harming you, honestly." Maxis replied truthfully.

He watched the Chikorita stumble and fall "You know.. if you're going to walking around like that you might as be dead while you stand" he sighed. "There's a large Houndoom pack around here, that would easily eat you up. So I'd watch your back, alright?" he warned Tsuno.

"Look, if you want. I can safely escort you to your family. The Houndoom pack's borders are not that far from here, and that's sugarcoating it. I'm assuming they're already out hunting, and have already picked up your scent.. along with any other Pokemon nearby." he added. After a long, dramatic pause "So, what do you think? Will you take me up on my offer?" he asked.

Carefully withdrawing his vines, Tsuno nodded. "Thank you, umm..." He stopped when he remembered that he doesn't know this Houndoom's name. "Thank you, sir." He lifted himself up, gesturing with his leaf as to the direction his family was.

It suddenly hit him "Oh, I'm sorry. I never introduced myself! How rude of me, well, I'm Maxis. It's a pleasure to meet you." Maxis said, standing up on all fours. "Now.. we should get a move on. The Houndoom could be tracking us as we speak." He looked in the direction the golden Chikorita had been gesturing at. "We can talk along the way.. let's go." He was already walking in the direction Tsuno had pointed in. He stopped, waiting for the Chikorita to catch up.

Tsuno bounded after Maxis, careful to avoid any obstacles. "My name's Tsuno by the way. You look different from other Houndoom. Then again, I look different too." The Chikorita started rambling about his family, and how nice they were. He talked about how he matched autumn leaves, which was an advantage when hiding in early spring, winter and fall.

"Oh, I see my cousin! H- Oh Arceus..." His cousin, a Bayleef, was snarling at a Houndoom, more like five, before being overtaken by them. "No... No, no no!"

"Tsuno.. what a lovely name. I'll be sure to remember it." He replied. While walking, Maxis listened to Tsuno ramble. It must be nice to have a family to call your own. he thought. But that thought was soon interrupted by Tsuno's distress.

He noticed Houndoom of his former pack surrounding a Bayleef. That must be a member of Tsuno's family.. crap.. He was hesitant to assist the Bayleef, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Maxis rushed to the Bayleef's aid, launching himself at one of the Houndoom. In a matter of seconds, the Houndoom was pinned down to the ground. Maxis let out a snarl, bearing his fangs. He was larger than most of the Houndoom around him, he could probably take them.. probably.

It wasn't long before he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, he turned around his fangs outstretched leaping away from the Houndoom he had pinned. He felt his fangs meet an unfortunate Houndoom's throat. It wouldn't be long until it died.

Four more... Maxis ignored his bleeding shoulder. The four Houndoom grouped together, snarling, gnashing their teeth together, spewing flames.. would he be able to do it?

He saw Maxis getting attacked. He swooped down and landed next to a Houndoom. He grinned looking at them.

Flame suddenly heard snarling from outside. "What was that?" She thought. "Hold on, I'm just going to go outside." She flew out of the hole and looked for the noise. She saw what seemed to be Houndoom, all fighting. "Oh no.. They look strong." She whispered.
