he smiled softly and warmly and chuckled softly, wiping his tear's
off his face gently.
''good..... it's okay to cry and mourn for a family member
passing.. just remember them for how they were before they're
death, they would want you to be happy..... they're in a better
place, not in pain or suffering...'' he murmured quietly.
Oliver blinked, tears subsiding as the subject changed. He hummed
with a smile, wiping off the rest of his wet face and staring at
his food. He grabbed a fork, twiddling it in his fingers with a
nod. He stabbed a piece of food, eating it.
tyler started to eat his meal as well and decided to stay on the
same side as oliver, just in case he needed another hug to help
calm him down. we've not known each other for the entire day and we've already
gotten close, almost as close at best friend's, which is really
awesome he thought cheerfully.
Oliver smiled at his food, nibbling on a piece of pepper. He
swallowed, and smiled. He scooped rice onto his fork, and swallowed
softly. He blinked, and glanced over at Tyler with a soft smile. He
looked at his food, and ate more of his food.
''hmm.... wonder what to do once we're done here.... pretty much
guess continue unpacking, hat way it's done and over with'' tyler
said after he finished a bite of his food.
"Yeah! I might do a vlog when we get there, after unpacking."
Oliver said, then shoveled some rice into his mouth. After a moment
of silence, Oliver swallowed and spoke up again. "Did I ever tell
you I was a Youtuber?" He asked, looking at Tyler with a tilted
head.[/center]
''well you just now told me! i may have to try and look you up on
youtube soon!'' tyler said, smiling at him while ruffling his hair
playfully, continuing to eat as well.
once he finished eating a couple bites he turned back to
oliver.
''i have written some stories, but um... i'm not to sure about
sharing them... truthfully my family doesn't even know about them''
he said.
"I'm sure they're good! I wrote stories when I was younger, and my
dad ripped them up. He didn't want me spending time on them rather
than my schooling. It's okay, though! I wasn't even a good writer.
But I'm sure you are!" Oliver said, smiling up at the other hybrid.
He picked up a pepper piece and an onion piece, eating them with a
smile.
''i'm sure your stories were good too, beside's i write digitally,
easier to save them that way and don't need to buy paper unless i
wanna print them off... which i'm sure i'll be in a writing class
and have to come up with a story for some test, i can just see it
in the future'' he said.
Oliver nodded. He stared off into space momentarily before jumping
at a sharp head pain. He opened his purse, pulling out an Advil
bottle. He opened it, pouring one into his palm. Closing the
container and slipping it back into his bag, he took the pill with
ease. He takes a lot of pills.
tyler's ear's perked up and he blinked.
''sorry if i'm speaking a bit loud, but i'm guessing.. and sorry
for bringing this back up..... but you ended up with a head trauma
when you and your sibling were in that accident didn't you....?''
he asked, treading carefully since he didn't want to upset oliver.
Oliver blinked, and stared off for a moment. "Yeah. Head trauma was
an injury to the top of my head, should've killed me. Few broken
ribs. Broken leg. Got stuck between the dash and my seat. I could
barely breathe. Took 3 hours to get me out and to the hospital."
Oliver said, a far away look in his bright eyes. He blinked,
glancing at Tyler. "Sorry."
''no it's alright, i don't mean to pry.... i just figured that's
why you were taking something for the pain'' tyler said, pulling
oliver into a one armed hug as he put his arm around his shoulders.
"Yeah. I get migraines easily. Especially after the crash. I take
Advil all the time." He sighed. He leaned into Tyler. "Greg was a
great guy. A good brother. He wasn't drunk or anything. We were
laughing and talking when someone smashed into us and made us roll
down a huge hill. Greg broke his neck and spine and died from glass
in his throat and lungs. He drowned in his own blood. I remember
screaming for those three hours. Save him, not me... Him." He
ranted, more tears streaming down his cheeks. "Sorry." He sobbed,
hugging himself a bit.
tyler reached up with his free hand and unclipped his choker,
pulling it off as he revealed the scar's around the side of his
neck, his gaze darkening sightly as he dazed out a bit and stared
at the table, ear's flattened.
''i was close to being killed... that's when i had to defend myself
and ended up killing my sibling.... i still feel guilty about it,
but.. it was self defense..'' he mumbled.
Oliver looked up at Tyler, tears streaming down his pale cheeks. He
set his hand on Tyler's cheek, running his thin thumb over the
other's cheekbone. "I'm sorry... I'm-" He hiccuped, breaking his
voice. "I'm so, so, so sorry." His voice wavered on the second
'so', and his lips quivered as he fought back a sob. He had to be
strong as possible.
he broke out of his dazed trance at oliver touching his cheek and
perked his ear's forward, blushing a little, looking down at
him.
''i-it's fine really..... i did what i had to do to survive, i
wouldn't be here today if i hadn't...'' he muttered, rubbing the
back of his head.
"Are... Are you alright with telling me? If not, it's okay! I
just... I'd like to know..." He murmured, slowly taking his hand
off his cheek. He smiled up at him, cheeks still stained with clear
tears.
