Ace skids to a stop right before they reach the guardian. He unsheathes his claws, readying his poison. "Right. 12x." He flicks his ears back, baring his fangs. "Easy."

Ricky frowned at them, "They somehow followed us Ace. I think it might be my fault. I was so focused on Red that I missed Shadow and Sapphire. What shall we do?"

"Stay." Ace says, and without giving him time to argue, he races forwards at top speed in the cave with the guardian, a gray wolf that's smaller than the first. Ace, at the last moment, flips onto his back, reaching up with his claws and tearing open the wolf's stomach as he slides under. He gets smoothly back to his feet as the wolf falls, already dying.

Ace spits out a bit of poison, and trots to its head. Nudging the snout, he unsheathes a claw and carves his symbol there. "Another kill by Ace." He mutters to himself. "Cant claim this one, Speck."

"I've got a better fix for that." Ace replies. He rips a chunk of meat off the wolf and swallows it quickly. "Now my venom will adapt, and replenish itself. Better than actually eating."
