Before I begin, I would like to point out I will do my best to have correct grammar. However, I still don't understand how to use whose, who's, whom, etc. Please review on what you think. The prologue is to give you a grasp on what I plan on writing about.

Prologue: Darkness Among the Light

“The Pokemon world used to be all connected, full of peace among Pokemon of all kinds.” The Elder spoke, her raspy voice reflected her age, “And then one day, a single Pokemon decided to challenge the rulers of the land, what we used to call Legendary Pokemon.”

“What happened to them?” One child asked, his eyes only further convinced the Elder to reveal a story nearly forgotten, “Why are we separated in Seventeen different clans?”

“Well...This Pokemon, who's name is feared throughout the lands. Draken Firebrook. He defeated the Legnedaries, and decided to separate the Pokemon into Clans based on their powers. He did this in fear of retaliation of his sudden rise to power.” The Elder closed her eyes.

“But, how did he rise to power? What power did he gain?” The same child questioned.

“He gained the powers of each and every Legendary.” The Elder opened her eyes, “He must be stopped. No matter the cost. On the third day of each month, the Clan leaders gather. Do you know what they discuss there?”

“No.”

“They discuss plans on how to end Draken's rule. I have recently learned the names of the Pokemon we are sending to fight along side the others.” The Elder said, “Your sister Alex and her friend Josiah. They are the two we will send. However, Draken has crushed several Clans, forcing them to withdraw from the attack plan. Right now, we, the Fire Clan, are one of the three Clans who still have enough strength to send out our Pokemon.”

“But...” The boy looked down, “I don't want sis to be hurt...”

“Don't worry young one. Alex is a strong Arcanine. She'll be fine. But, I can tell you want to help her.” The Elder said, “If you want to help, then you mustn't concern yourself with her well being. Help around the Clan, and make yourself even more useful than you already are.”

“While my sister fights for our freedom...I will do my best! I want her to be impressed when she gets back!” The boy ran off, and the group of children dismissed.

The Elder sighed, Too bad...This Clan has no hope anymore. I persuaded the Clan Leader. Our Pokemon warriors stand no chance against you My Lord.

Very well done...I will do away with these pathetic warriors. You've done enough for me, my daughter. You can rest now. The evil laughter of the mysterious voice echoed in her cave.
