It was a rather calming scenario, the trees are swaying from the
cool school breeze and the sun was shining brightly like a diamond.
Everything seems rather normal. Except for one thing...
"Silveeeer-kun!"
The Gardevoir called out, her eyes locked onto the boy's dorm where
a certain Eevee is currently staying. It seems like Momoe had
already made a friend rather fast ever since she first arrived in
the school from another region.
Even Silver could agree with the small lingering voices of Pokemon
being very relaxing to him for once. Suddenly, a voice he heard
from outside pierced into his ears, only to remember what schedule
he had today. He took a step towards the door to see a Gardevoir
much taller than him, and said the following, "Oh, good morning
Momoe!" He smiled at Momoe alike to a Litleo who had just caught
his first prey.
"You mention something about a city tour, yes?" She asked
excitedly. Oh right, she was that one foreign exchange student in
Pokesona High! And from the looks of it, it seems like the Eevee
boy has promised her a nice tour around the small beach city.
However, there were certain conditions she needed to apply. "I
bought language guide to help me too!"
"Ah yes, I forgot," he said, "let me get ready first!" Silver
closed the door slightly and grabbed the map as well as his
language guide. Once he was done gathering supplies, he opened the
door again. "Let's go!" he exclaimed. He walked outside and
escorted Momoe out and back to the entrance.
It didn't take long for the Gardevoir to start poking things around
as if she was new to the outside world but really, she was that
excited. "So! Where would be off to?" She asked as she then
looked at the many brochures she took from back when she arrived at
the city airport a week ago.
"The best part about where we are now, of course," he replied. He
was talking about the beach near the campus. The beach was the best
spot to sit and relax and was the best spot for students to unwind
a bit. "Unless you want to go shopping, we can do that instead," he
said.
"Not only that but even more clothing," Silver said, almost
sounding like a teenage girl. He looked forward and started to run,
leaving Momoe the need to catch up.
"Oooooh! Pretty! ~" She squealed with excitement as she ran
off, catching up with Silver's running speed. Ever since their
first meeting back in school, she was able to get him out of his
comfort zone. Slightly. As slightly as her attempting on listening
to her teachers which is... Not that much. But either way, it's
still a big step for her!
Soon, Silver was behind Momoe and struggled to catch up. Silver was
never an athlete and never remembered being one. Within seconds, he
realized he was breathing heavily as well as the pain below his
ribs. "M-Momoe, I think we should stop," he panted.
Being naturally fit, Momoe didn't seem to have a problem.
Unfortunately, she realized that she was already far from Silver
who was behind her. "Oh! Gomen'nasai, Silver-san!" She then
jogged right back at Silver's side.
"A-ah, it's alright Momoe," he said, panting heavily still. He took
a few moments to get some breath before standing straight again. He
adjusted his glasses. The mall was right just ahead of them and he
was excited. He could possibly buy new books there but most of all
buy manga as a gift for Momoe.
"Ohhhh, shinyyyy!" Oh, how enlightened she was already!
Eventhough back in her home region, they had much larger malls than
this but to be honest, any exotic place that's unfamiliar to her
would technically excite her.
Silver knew of Momoe very well and just figured that she would
absolutely love going to malls. Of course, he didn't think of
himself until they both arrived at the mall.
Oh, that's tough for her. The best she loves best were manga books.
They were her favorite pastime when her parents are away. Well,
they were always away. But they always made sure to bring her gifts
from their trips as soon as they arrived at home. Even up to this
day! "Oh, a manga book! Oh! Food! Oh! Hats!" Okay maybe this
was harder than she thought. Surely, she could learn to stick to
one thing, right?
While Momoe was busy running around constantly and looking around,
Silver decided to go his own way as well and went straight to the
bookstore. He scavenged around for the best books but to his
dismay, he had already read all of them.
"There are no books here that I haven't read," he muttered. He
walked out of the bookstore to find Momoe missing.
It would seem like Momoe had her eyes locked onto a beautiful
looking seashell necklace right at the souvenir shop just nearby,
her smile seemingly fading a bit. Perhaps she was reminiscing her
time in her home region maybe? Or just maybe...
She quickly picked up the presence of Silver nearby, turning around
and waving at him from afar.
Silver couldn't see Momoe around, so he started to wander off
looking for her. Silver was an advice-giver but he was horrible at
following his own advice, which was why he wandered off. He
wandered around stores before finding an anime store and walking
in.
Momoe merely sighed as she glanced sadly at the necklace then at
her wallet. But then when she turned around, she realized that
Silver was gone! "Silver-kun...? She looked around, he
wasn't there. Oh my, did he get lost...?
Silver, the stupid idiot of a bookworm he was, was indeed lost. He
was lost looking at anime. When he remembered he had to find Momoe
though, he snapped out of his trance and looked around. With his
eyes, he could only see a Weavile with a straight expression pass
by with a strange Flaaffy.
"Momoe?" he thought while he walked out of the store.
