He wasn't quite into Christmas as everyone else obviously way. But that was okay. This was a job, making friends wasn't at the top of his priorities. But getting paid was. I had my cat, that counts as a friend, right? A furry one at that. he thought. Ashton was taking a woman's order, ignoring the activity behind him. He repeated her order to her, just to make sure he got that right "Okay, so you want a number three combo with a medium glass of diet coke. Did I get that right?" he asked her, the woman nodded and he skated off to the kitchen door, opening it up "I need a number three combo." he half-shouted into the kitchen before skating off, he went to the bar and grabbed a medium cup from the shelf and filled it up with the requested drink before heading back to the table and handing it to the woman "Here's your drink. Your food should be ready soon. Thank you for choosing the Salt n' Pepper Diner." he said, skating off once again to serve another customer.

Bert walked into the diner. He finally was away from his parents. As Bert walked into the diner, he saw many people around. It seemed busy. It felt wonderful to be here so close to Christmas, and the many people were doing different things. Singing, talking and many other things. Sad thing is, all of them were adults. He was too young. So, instead of talking to them, he just sat down and looked around.

Abby rushed to the diner, a sucker firmly placed between her bright red lips. Her shift had just ended at the prison she worked at, and Abigail was quick to retire to her favorite restaurant and hangout. Backpack hoisted over her shoulders, the uncharacteristically optimistic and lively prison guard sprinted down the sidewalk to the Salt 'n Pepper Diner.

Panting hard, the red-head quietly slid into the restaurant, footsteps silent due to many years of practice. The only noise that gave the girl away was her breathing, but the wide, blinding smile was enough to see her from miles away, Abby was just a beacon of happy. What can she say. Popping the sucker out of her mouth, Abigail was quick to take her seat at one of the tables, glancing to the juke-box with ill intentions.

Isaac was wandering the street aimlessly, searching along the buildings for something interesting. He looked up at the structures before he saw one that caught his eye. A large diner, one that called itself the 'Salt 'n Pepper Diner'. His mother said to be back soon, and this diner would probably keep him up late, but his mind abandoned his sense of logic. He walked a bit faster towards the building, and was glancing at the door in a matter of minutes. He hesitated for a second, then he silently entered the room. What he saw took his breathe away. Many loud, happy people inside, more people than he thought would be here. His eyes darted about warily, before calming down. He couldn't help but smile at the scenes that were happening before his very own eyes.
