Daphnes was sitting on his bed when a screeching blasted into his ears. Screaming out in pain, he fell to the floor. When he looked up, he saw three Howling Bats flying around him. Due to the constant screeching he couldn't concentrate on using his powers. "Aleph...why?" Daphnes asked. Just when he thought he couldn't stand the noise anymore the bats vanished. He sat up onto his bed, his head throbbing. "Let this be a lesson...Daphnes!" A snarling and cold voice said in his mind. "Daphnes....Daphnes...Daphnes." His name rang in his head in that same voice.

Asuna Heard Screaming she looked around Daphnes wasn't there She ran to his room and knocked but nothing she Walked in to find him On his bed holding his head "Daphnes? Daphnes! Are you ok what happened?"

Daphnes faintly heard Asuna's voice. "Daphnes...are...you...ok?" He shook his head. "Yeah...I just bumped my head on my desk when I stood up from grabbing a dropped pen." He reassured her.

Daphnes walked out of his room slowly, his head still aching. He looked up at the screens and cheered for Tashiro and Brooke. He then turned and looked at the camera almost hidden in the corner. "Aleph, I mean Aré. Don't hurt them this time." He said, almost pleading. "They are not ready yet."

Two red glowing eyes watched Daphnes plead on the screen before them. "Fine...just this once...Brother!" The machanical mouth formed these words with disgust. Then the hand reached out and pressed the Air Pirate Orcas button.

(Daphnes gave her an earpiece that allowed her to telepathically communicate with him)

Daphnes then told Brooke. "At the end you will have to answer a question to recieve the orb. Let me send you the question." He typed the question down and sent it to their DRL Pads (a pad Daphnes gave to all the students) the question was..:How can you throw a ball as hard as you can and have it come back to you even if it doesn't hit a hard surface, there is nothing holding on to it, and no one else catches it or throws it? (Pal pad me your guesses and I'll tell you if you are correct.)
