"Speaking of which Hour, I want the girl. You know which one."
Ricky said looking at her.
"Mr.Ricky, you know it isn't polite to be so demanding." Noemi
reminded nervously.
"Noemi, talk to Charlotte. You may become...friends." Ricky replied
saying friends like it was some bizarre word.
Noemi knew who Jigsaw was, and Ricky complained enough about Hour
for her to know who she was, so she turned to Charlotte and bowed
politely "Greetings...I...am...training...under...Mr.Ricky."
"Yeah, Noemi. I met you, with Zia. Wait, hold on, sorry to
interrupt Ricky and everything, but we have another sibling?"
Charlotte asks, doing her best to keep the anger out of her
voice.
"Yes." Spirit sighs. "18. Trademark hazel eyes. Dark hair."
"Oh, you didn't tell her?" Ricky mused laughing, "Did you at least
to her Hour prevented me from chasing down the person who attacked
and could have killed Jigsaw?"
Ricky frowned sitting next to Charlotte, "Oh how little they tell.
Shall I scare Spirit enough to tell? Compared to Hour he is but a
fly, and to top it off, I don't think Jigsaw or Hour will come to
his aid. I'll attack and ask him if you just ask."
"No. I want them to tell me without me forcing it out of them.
Which you all know I can do." Charlotte says.
Spirit shifts uncomfortably. "Arcane was always... odd. Even for
our family. She was prone to fits of anger, violence. When she grew
older, her outbursts only intensified. It got to the point where
all of us were fearing for our lives. Then, one night... we argued.
It was after mom died, all of us had short tempers, and she left.
She... killed Candy on her way out. We all decided it would be best
of you didn't remember, so Hour erased it."
"Oh my a dead cat. That monster." Ricky replied shaking his head.
"I want to see my cat now." Snapping his finger a small portal
opened and a skeletal walked out slowly making a chattering noise
as Ricky hugged her.
Mint shrugs. "I've got a lot of siblings. I'm only in touch with a
few. Wings, Fauna, Gold, I think Umber too. Anyways, I heard
something about Arcane?"
"Ok, Mint knows and not me?!" Charlotte says.
"Well, that was sorta an accident. But yes." Spirit replies.
"Can you trust them? They hid a sister from you, can you believe
her of all people considering she erased your memory. Everyone
agreed to betray you, but she acted on it." Ricky said floating
next to her.
"Charlotte, listen to me. You have to understand. We did this
because of what happened when she got older. We didn't want you
remembering her in the distorted, twisted version of our sister she
turned into. We thought if she was erased from you memory, we could
forget about her too." Jigsaw says quietly.
Ricky's shadow began spreading around the room, "It seems like they
think you are too weak to have these memories. They even admitted
to you being a pawn in their selfish agendas."
"Ricky, will you shut up?! We only did it for her! We didn't want
her to remember Arcane the way we did. The twisted, dark version of
our sister that we couldn't control! We didn't want her to remember
fearing every day she'd have an episode and kill one of us..."
Jigsaw's voice cracks, and she buries her head in her hands, her
black hair turning to her natural fiery red locks.
Ricky licked the tear off Jigsaw. What was this sorrow? Slowly he
began to remember where he was. Hugging Jigsaw he frowned, "We both
need to apologize. You owe one to her, and I owe you one. I am
terribly sorry Jigsaw, please forgive me." Dusting off his jacket
he warped off.
