"Alright. Lets see. You really have no place to go. And there are
people out there willing to kill you without a second thought.
Powerful people. From what I can tell, you're not used to this
world. If there's anyone that can get you back, it's Zorra. She may
not seem friendly, and she's not going to be until you do something
to earn her trust. But once you do, she has connections. She'll get
you back to your Rebel, and your Zorra." Demon says.
"Its a big base. Here we are." Jaxin says, stopping by a row of
doors. "Inside there's really everything you need. Get rest,
because Death will probably have you fighting Sum and Win, or maybe
Foxia tomorrow."
"Powerful people. Getting along with Zorra. Powerful people.
Getting along with Zorra." Opening his pocket for a cigarette he
frowned, "Well I am off to a gas station."
"Its really not that hard to get on her good side. I took down an
Enfield to gain her trust. Death... his was more complicated...
Jaxin risked his life to give her valuable information. In this
job, there's always some opportunity." Demon replies.
"Depends. You are from another world. And though it may not seem
like it, she's curious, and extremely wary. It could definitely
help. Just remember, Zorra has... bad history... and the more risky
it is for you, the more she will trust you." Demon checks his
watch. "Oh shoot. Distress call."
"I don't know. Foxia didn't specify. Guess Zorra now has an excuse
to test out her new little trick. You want to come? It will
probably just be me, Fox, and Zorra." He says.
"Then come. Oh, and when you see Foxia... just don't look startled.
It hurts her feelings." Demon says, walking out, heading for the
entrance of the headquarters.
"Hey." Death says to Daphnes. "Dont worry. There's a distress call
and the next species to fight you is going on it. So you have some
free time."
Demon stops by the doors, where Zorra is standing with narrowed
pale gold eyes. "Ia?" He asks, and Zorra motions down another hall.
A strange creature lopes towards them and stops by Demon, her head
reaching about to his ribs. Her front legs are like an eagles, but
much longer, with wicked talons. Her head is like a foxes, complete
with rusty red fur that travels down to her lean, dog-like body.
Her back legs were powerful, like wolves, and her tail was similar
to a cats. She looks at Ricky with light purple eyes, intelligence
hidden deep in them.
