"It's okay to hide, little one. But I'd love if you could come out! I'd love to see your beautiful face!"

That's what
they first remembered. The aftercreation of the Renegade Pokemon, Giratina, had left a little wormlike Pokemon. A smaller version of Giratina, but... Light colored? And what was the name of this Pokemon? While they were officially named Giratina II, they preferred Leslie. Fast forward a couple billion years and here we are.

2016
It's a busy, crowded world. There are places of nature, yes, but not enough to fit the growing number of Pokemon in Sinnoh. So Leslie traveled far and wide searching for a new home. But they must deal with the dangers of trainers finding them, being attacked by other Pokemon, and even being mistaken for its original. Now Leslie has one question.

"Can I survive?"

spacing I'm completely alone. There's no one in my little void of an area. You'd think that someone as large- No, wait. I'm tiny compared to many. My ice-blue eyes scan what would be pitch blackness to any mortal, but something dark, though not so dark that I cannot see, to me.

spacing I am Giratina II. I am the aftermath of the creation of Giratina. I'm the much smaller version of it, with different colors. Of course, only Arceus and the other First Pokemon have met me, so you wouldn't know. Now just progress with the story!

spacing I heard a bit of scratching and footsteps in my little cavern. I don't have anything to protect myself with but attacks, since the end of my tail is just heart-shaped muscle and thin flesh. I found myself curling into a small ball and preparing to fight. My eyes let off a small glow that was visible as I stared at the ground.

spacing I see a human. Next to this human is a Decidueye. "What do you mortals want?" I demanded, not opening my mouth at all. The human must've been surprised to hear me speak, because she stepped back, eyes wide. The Decidueye didn't seem impressed. In fact, he only yawned.

spacing "I- I wasn't aware you could speak. I was actually just looking for evolutionary stones for my Eevee. My Decidueye can speak human, and he said that my Eevee wants to be a Flareon... Do you know where any Fire Stones are, Giratina?"

spacing "So thou art acknown of mine own 'rigin..."

spacing "Your... Origin?"

spacing "I am not Giratina. I am Giratina II, eke known as Leslie to some." This human certainly wasn't as stupid as the others, so I considered helping her. "Thee sayeth thou art looking f'r Fireth Stones?" The human nodded. "Followeth me, then."

spacing I carefully uncoiled myself, trying to look more regal or threatening. Keeping low toward the ground, I glided out of this room in the cavern. The trainer and her Decidueye followed as we went from room to room until finally...

spacing "H're we art," I stated simply.

spacing "Thank you, Leslie!" the trainer exclaimed, picking up a red and orange stone. I simply dipped my head in response, snaking out into a large cavern. I pointed with my tail to a hall.

spacing "If 't be true thee wend down yond c'rrid'r, thee shalt findeth the exit within minutes. I needn't showeth thee the way."

spacing "I'm going to assume you're telling me directions on how to get out. So go into a corridor and walk straight?"

spacing I nodded without another word as the trainer and her Decidueye left. I felt... proud of myself. Proud? This is new. I've never felt pride in myself.

spacing I've been just a mistake since the creation of the original Giratina. I am not supposed to exist at all. Not even a chance.

spacing I made my way back to the little room in the cave where I spent most of my time and sat back down. I felt at ease once more. People and Pokemon never come to this place unless they are in dire need of something. But fortunately, few know of my existence. As long as I stay hidden, I won't have to worry.

spacing I was taking a short rest when suddenly, I heard many voices. The trainer from before was back, but with more humans and Pokemon. What could they want? "What art thou doing hither?" I called, annoyed.

spacing "Jamie, this is a prank and we all know it. It's too dark to see anything, so how-"

spacing "Wilt I repeat myself? WHAT ART THOU DOING HITHER?"

spacing It was silent. I narrowed my icy blue eyes and slithered out of hiding. The humans all gaped at me, wide-eyed. I realized that maybe they didn't talk the way I did. I need to try and speak like them. "What art thou... What are you... doing here?" The people stared around at each other. "Will you speak?" I snapped.

spacing "So Jamie was right... Alright men, let's get 'er."

spacing "Hold on, dad! I only wanted to show you that this cave wasn't empty like you thought! By taking this Pokemon, you're taking the guardian, and any hope for people like me who needed her guidance!"

spacing "Jamie, this is a legendary Pokemon! Think, Jamie! If we had this Pokemon, we'd be able to fight off the Ultra Beasts with more ease than ever!"

spacing "Thee wish to capture me? Thou, young human. I did trust thou. How couldst thou betray me this way?"

spacing "I'm sorry! I didn't know they would do this!"

spacing "You betrayed me," I hissed, tears forming in my blue eyes as humans sent out their Pokemon. I was battered away at as I could only spare one Dragon Pulse. The people threw Pokeballs at me as I tried to retreat.

spacing "Stay away!" I roared as I turned to a wall. I chanted something under my breath and a portal opened. I slipped through it right as it closed behind me.

spacing "Back so soon?" I whirled around floating midair.

spacing "Do not frighten me like that, Kyogre."

spacing "Surprise seeing you down in the ocean. Humans again?"

spacing "It's always humans."

spacing "You'd be better off with another Dragon-type, Two."

spacing "I'm aware, Kyogre."

spacing "I was just saying." The large, blue Sea Basin Pokemon dove deeper into his realm. I rolled my eyes. Does he realize that only Pokemon weak to water would have trouble? And plus, I can hold my breath for long amounts of time.

spacing I decided to go back onto the surface, considering Kyogre and Lugia were my only company down here. I shot up and saw Latios and Latias flying together over the ocean. I decided to go join them as a glided very low over the water. "Hello!" I called. Latias paused and turned to see me.

spacing "Hello, Leslie!"

spacing "Hi, Two."

spacing "Oh, brother, be polite! She prefers Leslie, not Two!"

spacing "Fine... Hi, Leslie."

spacing The two flew over to me. "Did you hear about the Type: Null that escaped from the Aether Foundation? All three are free now. We should go try to find it!"

spacing "That sounds like a great idea, Latias!" I was actually into her idea. It sounded fun, if anything.

spacing "Count me out. I am not getting myself captured."

spacing "Brother, we won't get captured!"

spacing "Right."

spacing "Whatever, you party pooper! C'mon Leslie!" Latias zoomed off, leaving Latios and me.

spacing "What're you waiting for? Go."

spacing Latias and I did loops in the air as we approached Ula'Ula Island. I had been resting in Mount Coronet, so this brightness was all so amazing to me.
