Eva struck up a conversation with one of the bous, who seemed to be waiting for someone else. They had similar tastes and quickly became friends. He showed her his Kudan, which happened to be a rattlesnake. Apparently, his friend hadn't shown up. She offered to battle with him and he seemed overjoyed.

Chass shrugged. "I dunno, the strength of a Kudan depends on your heart. My heart's not very strong. If it were, I'd be able to convince my parents to let me wear something other than a pink dress." she sighed.

Meanwhile, Aki was out for a stroll.

Apparently, the other boy's partner wasn't here either. While they waited they chatted amongst themselves. "It's a shame Jeremy couldn't make it, but Aaron too? This is weird..." The boys Eva had befriended said, whos name was Lucas.

They all shrugged and disbanded. Eva walked off to watch the other Kudan fight. It wasn't that fun to watch, the Kudan weren't very strong. It would be fun to have a battle herself.

Shadow couldn't take it anymore and he summoned his kudan and in an instant the to others were on the ground. "Sorry but it was just to boring" he said.

"Apparently not." Courtney said, standing up.

Aki saw some kids on the ground. They're unconscious... she thought. What immediately came to mind was the word Kudan.

Eva's Kudan was back for some reason and she just shrugged. She looked at Shadow enter the battle. Was that allowed? It didn't really matter to be honest.

Aki summoned her Kudan and saw through its eyes. She went out to investigate and came across Shadow, Eva, Courtney, and Chass.

It's the cat-girl. Chass thought, seeing Aki.
