How do you think everything survives? Guardians, of course. There's a guardian for everything. Even worms. And chairs. And all the ridiculous things of the world. There's too many to count, but they exist. They can take the forms of animals or humans, and some are even crosses between the two. They do not age, but they are not immortal, and their leader- The Guardian of Guardians- died. This broke the protective seal that kept humankind from acknowledging their existence, and now they're going crazy. It's not like we have anything except magic; They have guns and swords and... It's not good. So far, none of the other guardians have died, but that condition won't be held for long. Will you help us?
Rules:
The basic stuff you should know by now
Don't turn the whole thing into a soap opera, but romance is allowed
Try and keep the Human to Guardian ratio even. It doesn't need to be perfect, but at least 1:2, please.

Aaron was currently in the beginning his third year in college. He was a child prodigy and, though he was the absolute worst at singing, dancing, and playing instruments, he was able to get through school. Aaron knew that he was eventually going to get out of this class, but it seemed to drone on. The silver-haired genderfluid shoved his head between his folded arms and waited for class to end.
As if on queue, the bell rang. Aaron grabbed all of his stuff and rushed out of the room.

Renna saw Iro. She could tell Iro was a guardian, but she did nothing about it. She didn't have to.
Kashi was at a park, humming along with the twitters of the songbirds.

Will was soaring maybe three hundred feet off the ground in his dragon form. He was in a place where he came often, and he'd never been seen before. He thought he was okay until he felt something seem to bite at his tail. He hissed in surprise and lashed his tail, watching blood drip out. "That's not good," he commented as he grabbed the part of his tail where he was bleeding.
"So they're using guns to fight me. How annoying."

Kashi, from the park, saw an orangey-white blur run by. Hey, isn't that the Guardian of Color? Orange... Doesn't that mean she's scared? she immediately thought. She decided to follow. "Thank you, songbirds." she said, before chasing Iro.

"I guess you don't me. I'm Kashi, the Guardian of Music. How could I not be humming? Also, aren't you the Guardian of Color? I've seen you around." Kashi replied.
"Uh, yeah, I'm Iro. Now, where did that bullet come from, and where did it go?" Iro wondered.
"Where did ya come from, where did ya go... Kashi sung, but quickly shut her mouth.
