Zorra pauses, blinking. Her fingers twitch and she lets go of the pictures, which float in midair. She looks up at Ricky, cloudy blue eyes no longer cloudy, just normal blue, filled with total rage.

Zorra clenches her fist, and Ricky is slammed into the wall and pinned. She unsheathes her claws, closing her eyes and taking a shakey breath.

Most of the ice broke and Ricky looked at himself. His skull hadn't grown longer, but went into a football helmet like style. Ice clung to his shoulders, hands, legs, and feet. He felt heavier than usually...but also...safer?
He opened his mouth once, then twice. He could still talk. "It seems you got me in an early stage of my metamorphosis.
