You've heard of the choose your own adventure books right? Well this story is one of them, were you get to control Soldier A-4 as he goes with his team to hunt demons. There are two options you can choose, and each of those branches into two options, and by the end we'll have 32 endings. sounds fun right?

I marched with the team I was in down a path. It was a stealth mission. Five of us were to make it past a demon invested territory, make it to a castle, disable a shield, and get out in five minutes or we'll be bombed.
A-1 was the squad leader. A-2 was the sniper. A-3 was our close combat expert. I was the support member. A-5 was the team muscle.
A-2 crouched down and opened his bag, "I'll make the sniper nest here."
A-1 nodded, "Any objections guys?"
A-3 and A-5 shook their heads.
Something felt wrong...what if...it was probably nothing. But what if it was? Could I bear knowing I knew something was wrong if died, or if something went wrong if he moved?

"I am sorry, but something seems wrong here." I said and everyone looked at me.
"Can you elaborate?" A-1 asked.
"I...I can't really. But you told me to go with my gut, and my gut says this is wrong." I reply.
"Fine. We'll go one hundred yards up, and then he'll set up the sniper nest there." A-1 commanded.
A-2 packed up and about ten yards from it he threw a rock at the area he would have been at. A clicking could be heard and a huge boulder rolled down slamming into a rocky wall.
"Your gut was right. If it wasn't I'd be dead." A-2 replied.
I nodded once.
A-1 looked at us all, "Alright guys, should we run and hope to avoid traps, or move slowly and hope to avoid traps?"

I nervously pushed down my doubts and walked with the others.
"Is everything alright A-4? You look uncomfortable." A-1 said walking back to me.
"I am sure everything is fine." I replied nervously.
A-1 pulled out one of his guns and twirled it, "It doesn't seem like everything is fine. What does your gut say?"
"My gut says A-2 is in danger if he stays there." I replied.
"Let's get him then." A-1 replied.
We ran up quickly and we heard a click. A large boulder went rolling down and we rushed quickly to try and get A-2.
A-2 noticed it a little to late, and he quickly jumped towards us. He was slammed into the dirt and grunted in pain as the boulder rolled over his legs with a sickening crunch.
We quickly dragged him out.
"Sorry. I was too slow. Take me a few yards up ahead, and I'll make a sniper nest there." a-2 grunted.
"Sir, I believe I should stay with him and give him medical treatment." A-3 said.
"No, take him and drop him off at a safe area that he can snipe at." A-5 grunted.
"I agree with A-3." A-1 muttered once, "A-4, you are the tie breaker."

"Sir. I vote we make a run for it." I said slowly.
"Agreed. Run guys and don't stop for a second." A-1 commanded.
We all nodded once and went running.
Naturally things went wrong.
A-1's leg was caught and he was lifted a couple hundred feet in the air, yelling "Go! Go!" as he hurtled to the ground.
A-5 stopped for a moment and the next thing I know I was leaping over his head.
"Left!" A-3 called from the bottom of the hill.
I managed to left quick enough, but tore through A-2, and his lifeless body fell to the ground in a heap.
A-3 sighed, "We need to continue."

"I say we go slow." I managed.
"Yes. Slow and steady wins the race." A-1 muttered.
We slowly trudged down with A-1 taking the back and A-3 in the lead. Naturally things went wrong.

I managed to move left quick enough, but tore through A-2, and his lifeless body fell to the ground in a heap.
A-3 sighed, "We need to continue. Left or right?"
