Born in the kanto region and moved to the hoenn region at the age of 9.
Moved in at oldale town. the first year was the quietest,stayed alone at home or in the back of crowds..

Oh yeah my names Raven by the way. if i haven't mentioned this will be a story of my life in the pokemon world.

A few days before my 10th birthday

The great migration of pokemon began with all known pokemon from all regions migrating through each region. instead of seeing a swarm of taillow pass by my window i saw a flock of pidgey like back at my old home of kanto. it made me miss my old home but i dashed outside to see what i saw in the bushes. a shadow flew across the open alley onto the rooftops, i chased it down the alley into a open park area i never saw before. i ventured into the unknown park and sat on a bench under a tall looming tree. i saw no more of the shadow i chased down here..
I got up and ran back to where i entered the strange park and found there was no longer an exit.I started to panic and wonder how to get out of this unknown land i ended up in.then in the tree i saw a sparkle and a shadowy figure appeared before me and i fell backwards in awe. the strange shadow walked up to me and taped my forehead and i woke up in a alley way i ran down before and ran home.

I stayed home the rest of the day wondering what happened. i looked out my window and saw swarms of pokemon of all sorts rush past the summer day. i went on my moms laptop and tried looking up what i saw. only nothing showed up in my search so i moved on. the next day i went outside again with a small net to see if i could catch it.i looked around the town for the strange shadow but saw nothing, so i figured it ran off with the rest of the pokemon migrating to wherever.

Birthday

It was finally the day of my birthday my,10th birthday and first one in the Hoenn region.
I woke up excited to see what gifts i would get.i ran down stairs as fast as i could right when the sun came up over the tree tops.When i go downstairs all i found was nothing, even my mom wasent awake. my dad well..i never met him.(seems to be a trend in the Pokemon world).
i dashed back up stairs and got dressed and went outside early in the morning.walked around my yard but still couldn't figure out what to do until my party or when im getting my presents.

My mom came up behind me smiling telling me to quit picking in the dirt and to come inside.i walked inside and saw a single warped present in a box with fancy ribbons and glitter.i walked up to it eagerly waiting to be able to rip it open to reveal the inside of the mysterious box.

I stand right at the box waiting for the "OK" sign. my mom holds her thumbs up and i rip open the wrapping instantly, i open the box and inside was something i could never think of having at my age. i hold it up in awe and show my mom, she smiles and holds up the tag of who it's from.(something i never saw in the scurrage of opening the gift) I'm surprised at first of who it's from.

I try to think hard on what my dad looks like but sadly i don't remember..
my mom pats me on the shoulder and tells me to go try it out.i run outside with my gift in hand eager to use it. i walk around wondering how to use it and on what.
I look at the gift in my hand, round but oddly colored from others I've seen
It's a dark grey with a silver lining at the bottom and on the top its a dark red or a maroon color, its hard to describe. well its a Poke-ball never the less.
