Melissa checked her phone. "No school today guys. Lets go freak out some little kids." Melissa said with a snicker. The others snickered as well and followed her to the park. The walked in a pack, Melissa in front, glaring at anyone who dared look any of the, in the eyes. They certainly terrified the little kids alright.

Melissa saw a crowd of kids glaring at her group and pulling back slingshots in their direction. Melissa narrowed her eyes and waved her hand in their direction and in a split second three of her friends were there pulling the slingshots out of their hands and shooting them at the kids until they were all gone. She gasped. She hadn't even seen them go over. It was like they just came out of the shadows.... She smiled and her eyes became a bit more red.

Melissa turned to Cotie and smirked. "No I'm perfectly fine. I wouldn't want to worry a little do-gooder like you." She said witna sly smile. Her friends ganged up behind her. "Have you seen Anne anywhere? I want to make sure she isn't comforting those losers from earlier. They deserved what they got."

Melissa stopped smiling. She glared at Cotie and her posse followed her example. "Careful there little girl. You wouldn't want us on your bad side." Melissa said, her eyes narrowing. Her eyes grew a darker shade of red, a lot more menacing than the one before it.

Melissa was quick to cover her surprise. Powers? What powers? Then it hit her. She stumbled back a step. Her eyes went back to their original blue. She looked at Cotie and gasped. She looked behind her and saw her supposed friends jeering at her and their eyes were coaxing her to keep going. She shut her eyes and tried to resist them but when she opened her eyes they were back to their menacing red. She turned back to Cotie. She smirked. "Lets see what you got."

Cotie smiled. " Okay! " Cotie put her hand up to the sky, making a ball of energy from the sun, turning it into a prume. It would be very light and bright.

Melissa's friends shrank back a bit but once the light started to fade they surged forward. Melissa covered her eyes and waved towards the light and a shadow from a tree came over and encased the light. It crushedd the light and surged towards Cotie.
