Nettlepaw sat outside the apprentices' den, beginning his daily bath. In his short time alive, he had learned that keeping his thick scars from becoming irritated required keeping them extremely clean. By this point, daily baths were habit. As he licked his paw and ran it over his ears, he wondered vaguely what the day would hold. He still had not been assigned a mentor, and had been - for the most part - training himself. His hunting had improved tenfold, but any combat he did was sloppy at best. Finishing with his ears, he glanced around the camp to see who was awake.
