he locked the door and put the key on the hook and went off for the kitchen.
''are either of you hungry? i could fix you both something to eat if you are'' he called from the kitchen.

annabelle was sitting down on one of the couches leaning against the back, her shoes off at the foot of the couch so she could hug her legs.
''n-no thank you, i'm not really hungry at the moment'' she said, loud enough for him to hear.

annabelle rested her head against the back of the sofa and closed her eye's, resting for a moment after the whole ordeal.
jacob walked into the room and held a cup out for savannah.
''will water work? i don't want to accidentally give you something that you might be allergic to, just to be on the safe side'' he said.

she sat up and looked around before looking out the window.
''aw.. a kitty...'' annabelle mumbled, getting up and walking over to the window.
she opened it up and leaned on the windowsill, holding her hand out for the cat to sniff.
