Christmas Lights
A year had passed since the Glitter Force defeated Emperor Nogo. It was Christmas time. The small group of friends was celebrating the holiday. Chloe was wrapping some gifts for the others, Lily was playing with Candy, and Emily was reading a book, leaving Kelsey and April by themselves. The green haired teen spoke after a minute of silence.
"So how have you been?" She asked. It had been a long time since the five friends had been in the same place.
Kelsey shrugged. "Fine. You?"
April nodded. "Same. How's your life been? Full of sun I hope."
Kelsey laughed a little bit. "It's been fine. Boring since the shop closed. And you?" A red tint went to her face.
Not noticing her friend's embarrassment, April shrugged. "Same."
When Emily came into the room, she smiled, and hurried to get something. Kelsey panicked silently, knowing it was Christmas time. When Emily came back into the room, she had a leaf or two with some white berries. Mistletoe!
April continued to sit, not noticing her friend's nervousness. Emily let out a small giggle, and held the mistletoe over Kelsey and April. Kelsey's face was as red as her hair, and April smiled nervously.
"C'mon! You know the rules!" Emily complained. Noticing the commotion, Lily, Candy, and Chloe came in.
"What's going on?" Chloe asked. Lily noticed the mistletoe over April and Kelsey's head, and squealed. Chloe smiled as she too noticed it.
April leaned over, and for a second kissed Kelsey on the lips. Kelsey, realizing what happened, backed away, her face redder than the red Christmas light. Emily smiled, and took the mistletoe away.
And this is the start of our story.

Mall Day
It was a month since April and Kelsey had started dating. It was April's birthday, April 17th, and Kelsey hadn't gotten her the perfect gift! Panicking, the red haired tween suggested they go to the mall.
"Sure! I need a new dress..." April said, looking at her current, drab one.
Kelsey smiled, picked up her own wallet, and the duo set out. When they got to the mall, they had ice cream, shopped, and while they shopped Kelsey got her girlfriend a new dress. It was green, and it was sparkly. It had small, fake red roses on the skirt. It was perfect! She only had twenty five bucks, and it was $24.99! Well, it is for April! Kelsey thought as she paid for the dress, and put it in the fancy bag she had bought previously. When all five girls met up, they gave April her gift for her, except Kelsey.
"What's wrong?" The green haired teen asked.
"N-nothing!" Kelsey said, and gave her friend the bag. When April saw the dress, she gasped.
"Kelsey! You didn't! It was twenty five bucks, and that was all you had!"
"I did..." Kelsey said, as April tackled her with a hug. All the other girls had left at this point.
The duo went home.
