Jocelene looked up as a thud hit the floor. She walked to the source, and found someone on the bed with her book on the floor. She snorted, picked up the book and plopped it on the bed, assuming the occupant was asleep. She turned to leave.

Elf paused, hearing something follow him. He swallowed. Was he brave or a chicken?
The pawsteps were getting louder...
