"Yes yes! He's an Android, therefore not human. He's just a 'living' pile of metal. I let him out today, but I guess his battery ran out more quickly than expected. I might have to change that..." he muttered.

"Being an android has it's advantages, but also comes with some downsides. He's not human, he doesn't have a soul, not to mention how he collapsed on the street today. He isn't really 'living' he's kind of in the middle I suppose.." He said, taking another sip of his tea.

Zane came into the room, staring at the Professor Garrison and Nym. "Speak of the devil! I'll have to see if I can find a way to lengthen the duration of your battery, No.6." Professor Garrison smiled. "Professor Garrison, I'd like to be addressed as 'Zane'." Zane said, looking over at Nym "It's the human girl that helped me. Did she carry me here?" he asked Professor Garrison "Yes, she did." he replied. "You have my gratitude." Zane told Nym.

Nym glared at Zane. "No, I'd be a horrible person and I know it. You're standing and you're as close to a human as you can be, so I will treat you just the same." She replied sternly.

"You humans are so confusing.." Zane said, "Zane, I'll see to you if you want." Professor Garrison said. "Alright." Zane took off his shirt, "Alrighty.." Professor grabbed a bucket of tools, opening the panel on Zane's back.

"Maybe.." Professor Garrison said, while working on Zane. After a long while he shut the panel "Done! Maybe now you can forget about needing to recharge. Oh, sorry for keeping you here for so long. Your parents must be worried." Professor Garrison said. "Sorry for taking up your time human girl." Zane said, looking at Nym. He was apologizing on both Professor Garrison and his behalf.

"I'm sorry for your loss." Zane said. Professor Garrison choked on his tea, "Zane-" he was about to say before Zane cut him off "I may not have had any parents, but if you need someone to help you cope. I'll be there for you." he said, wrapping Nym into a hug. "This is what you humans do to each other when you're feeling sad, right?" he asked.

Nym let out a small sigh. "Well, I really should go. Don't want to be anymore of a bother than I already have been. Thanks for taking me in for a few minutes, though." She pulled away and grabbed her bottle of tea, putting the lid back on it.
