"Alright, Golduck Hydro Pump!" Cress commanded, his Golduck launching a beam of water at Luke's Salamence. It hit, but it seemed to have little effect. Although it did do some damage. "Salamence, finish Golduck off with another Dragon Pulse!" Luke called, his Salamence responding with another beam hitting the Golduck. Cress's Golduck fainted, rendering it unable to battle.

"One down, five to go!" Luke called back his Salamence, returning it into his pokeball. "You did good." he smiled, selecting another pokeball. "Go, Weavile!" Luke threw his pokeball, a Weavile entering the battle field. "Go, Slowking!" Cress sent out his Slowking. Water types.. I have a few pokemon to deal with them.. but not as many pokemon with the overall advantage either. Maybe on my journey I'll find a strong electric type pokemon. he thought.

"Woo-hoo!" Arin cheered lightly, smile on her lips. Her cheer was much like Fluttershy's, and her eyes sparkled with happiness. She hadn't been in it spectated a battle in months. This joy she felt made her sensitive heart swell.

"Nightslash!" Luke yelled, "Scald" Cress commanded, the two pokemon using their attacks. Weavile's landed first, Cress' Slowking fainting. "That training proved to be quite useful." Luke muttered quietly, returning his Weavile into her pokeball.
