Without further ado he left the house, strolling to the bar he and his team would meet with Captain Cosmic. He hummed an old tune, thinking about the things he'll have to do the next days, maybe weeks.

But the rats down there are another story!", he remembered, grimacing at the thought of the 1, 12 ft. beast he'd seen.

Rosmarin chuckled, watching Zack hurrying away. "There's a reason he's the second mate... If something needs to be done, he's the man! No excuses, just neat and good work.", she said with a satisfied look on her face.
She listened up, when she heard the sound of hooves on stone and the soft chirps of birds. "Seems like we're finally there.", the first mate stated, when suddenly the tunnel opened into a light-flooded area.
The upper part of Tortuga is still in the cave-system, but unlike down in the underground-city, this place got its light from outside, through big holes in the ceiling. There are shops too, villas and even mansions. This place was more separated, one cave to another, connected with streets. But people here can enjoy little green parks and a big theatre in the main-cave. This was THE place, to find the educated part of the pirate world. Many nameful Captains and Sailors settled down here, forming the "Elders council".

And here's the down-part of Tortuga, much bigger (Of course the lights aren't purple, but rather yellowish)
