The Everyday Life of a Trainer
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → The Everyday Life of a Trainer"I need to be heading to help Houndoom, but this may cause more trouble," he said as he landed and flapped his wings to kick up some wind that flowed behind those working on the flames. Tailwind was a useful move at times like this.
With the wind coming from behind them, now, he pulled energy into his wings for a moment before spreading them and giving a few flaps. The energy released from his wings sped up the wind formed creating a razor-like wind that slashed through the flames, dragging the oxygen away and causing the fire around it to die off. It was only effective for small areas, though.
When the fire was out, he took back to the skies.
Houndoom laughed when Cinder was dead on.
"Here, let me help," she offered, then backed up a ways. She huffed flames again, this time charging through them, ramming the glass with her strong horns. There was a loud CRICK as the glass cracked, then shattered inwards.
Houndoom went barging into the room, landing on all four paws, cuts formed along her body from where the glass cut into her.
"OPEN~" she called back, her tail wagging as she was pleased with herself.
Add in the fact that they are in a quieter part of town where Navuso was taken by some Pokémon traffickers, Thomas wouldn't just so happen to be in the mostly deserted streets if he were just "Walking around town" as when one walks around a decent sized city, they tend to get uncomfortable when suddenly in a quieter part of the busy and crowded location.))
Cinders, with Domi on his back, followed after his trainer, careful of the glass as well,"You sure know how to make a mess."
"Well, you were taking too long," Houndoom replied with a shrug, then looked around, ignoring the comment about needing a potion.
"You sure know how to make a mess," she heard Cinder say, and smiled.
"If we didn't make an entrance, how else would this be fun?" she asked, then crouched down as some of the people from the building came to investigate the noise. Upon seeing the Houndoom, Axew, Quilava, and a trainer, they moved to release their own Pokémon, wanting to catch the two rares and the Houndoom.
There was a loud crash from somewhere, but Navuso couldn't tell where, exactly. He watched his guards look to each other, then they ran off, pulling out their pokéballs in the process.
The human struggled to try and get his hands free, as they had been tied up at some point. He was still sore and groggy from the blow to the head, but he knew that he needed to try and get free from this place to keep his two young friends safe.
Getting the rope around his hand loosened up and one of his hands free, he quickly got up, only to stumble and lean against the wall.
"Seer, LeafBlade! Are you two okay?" he asked, trying to focus his vision. There was a meow from Seer in reply as the Skitty realized that he was stuck in a small cage with LeafBlade.
Nauso rubbed his own head, trying to ease the throbbing pain.
"Yeah, I know it's rough," he said in reply to the Skitty, failing to realize that he shouldn't understand the pokémon due to a lack of a translator.
'Stupid cronies. They try to escape the fire ring, they'll probably get a punch in the face by my trainer.'Cinders thought.
"Totodile, a rare. Quagsire, an annoyance to try and beat... Another Houndoom, ha! Machoke..." she listed off as she counted the released Pokémon. Okay, they were outnumbered, and some of them had type advantages over her, but there were a few that weren't strong against her natural typing. For example a shinx, A Glaceon, and a handful of others.
Looking at the opponents, she used Ember on the Glaceon, seeing it as a threat for Axew, then proceeded to challenge the other Houndoom. She gave a low growl and dropped her head, exhaling some flames towards the other canine. She was fully prepared to try and take the other Houndoom down.
Christina glanced at Houndoom,'Well, at least she has me covered. Unlike some Axew's...'She thought, sending a mental glare at Domi hiding behind her legs, the Axew a little afraid of harming the enemies, even though they did bad things to other Pokemon and trainers.
Cinders sent a mental eyeroll to Domi, but understood why she was hiding. He kept his focus on attacking the enemies trying to attack him.
Getting into a fight with the fellow Houndoom was probably not a smart decision on Houndoom's part as she was getting pushed back by his overwhelming power. Still she fought well as she charged in for a final strike, managing to sink her fangs into one of his legs just as he hit her with his horns and tried to throw her off.
He managed to knock her into the air, though she refused to let go of him, which meant he went tumbling after her as they crashed on the floor a little ways away.
Navuso heard the ruckus in the other room and recognized a cry that he hears periodically. It sounded like Houndoom was in a serious fight. He quickly got to the cage where Seer and LeafBlade were and looked it over.
"Seer, hold on to the bars," he instructed, since he didn't have a Key he was going to drop the cage to try and break the hinges on it. After all, it didn't look very well built. Slipping a few of his fingers through the bar to hold the sleeping Eevee relatively still, he hit the small cage against the ground as hard as he could. There was a crack as the bars bent and the hinges broke, but there was also a sharp pain in Navuso's leg from where a stray piece managed to catch him. He gave a curse at the pain, but shook it off quickly as he pulled Seer and LeafBlade out from the cage.
The Eevee jolted awake at the shock from hitting the ground. He quickly looked around, then noticed that Navuso seemed to be hurting.
"Vee?" he asked, to which the human put the confused Eevee onto his shoulder.
"Yeah, it's me. I heard Houndoom somewhere, so we need to go help her," he said, then took off in a run to the other room. He was a set of stairs, but he could see the chaos from the fights as the staircase was a part of that room.
"Her... Um, Christina!" he called, waving a hand, then hurried down the stairs as fast as he could, tripping on the last step. He saw Houndoom, and it looked like she was almost out of the chaotic fight and on the losing side.
"Houndoom!" he called out to her, putting Seer and LeafBlade down as he rushed to his Houndoom's side, ignoring the other trainer for the moment as he made sure his friend was alright.
Houndoom heard Navuso say something from somewhere nearby, then heard him call out to her. She was hurting, but she wasn't going to get beaten if she could help it. She released her hold on the other Houndoom and forced herself back to her paws, running over to Cinders to try and help him out.
"How are you holding up?" she asked him as she released some flames around them.
Cinders glanced at Houndoom, snorting softly at her weakened condition,"Better than you, it seems."Was his simple reply,"Lets hurry this up and get out of here."
"Ok lets go to the nearest forest" Thomas said walking in the direction to the forest "Lets go Fletchling"
Thomas reached the forest and let the Fletchling fly off and then the Fletchling came back and touched one of Thomas's empty pokeballs being caught
"Looks like I have a Fletchling now"
