"I wasn't spying!" Colette yelled, her appearance morphing into a feral-looking, half human/half cat creature. Her eyes glowed and she looked like she was about to pounce on Night.

Colwyn growled, and the fire traveled up their arm to engulf both their hand and Night's. They kicked out as well. "Let go!"

Night wasn't hurt. She also changed form. Her dress bcame blood. Her nails became knives. She twirled in a circle and started to chant a statue spell. SHe turned them into mere statues. "This is what you get for rudeness."

Both are still frozen. Assuming they're frozen in time as well, both would still expect an attack of some sort when the spell wears off.
