I was at a nearby cafe, which there I was placing an order. "I'd like #3 please, with beef." I said to the waitress, which gave a polite nod, jotting it down on her notepad "Anything else?" she asked "A glass of water." I added. The waitress left my table and went into the kitchen. I tapped my foot quietly, waiting. After what seemed like ages the waitress came back in setting my plate of food on the table, along with my glass of water, then left for the next table. "Time to dig in." I muttered, grabbing my fork and knife.

Leli sat at a bar with Oliver as a cat on her shoulder. "Yes, I know I'm legally not supposed to be here, but tomorrow's my 21st birthday dork. It counts." He purred with amusement and rubbed against Leli's neck. "You're honestly not smarter than a mouse at this point," she commented, rubbing his fuzzy head. He stuck his tongue out at her and hopped off to go explore.

After my meal I stood up, paying the waitress and leaving the cafe. "That hit the spot." I said to myself, licking my lips. I froze "Is that a cat I smell?" I muttered, barley audible. I followed Oliver's scent, leading toward a bar. "Huh." I muttered, opening the door letting myself in. I spotted Oliver, my primal wolf instincts telling me to kill him, I resisted. "Hey there little kitty." I walked over toward him.

Oliver began meowing rather loud and annoyingly. He could scent the thick smell of wolf. The brown cat was cautious as the male "human" approached. Oliver's instincts screamed to become a human or dragon, but Oliver wanted to just figure out what this person was doing. He meowed for Leli, but then remembered that she couldn't understand.

"What're you meowing about? Silly cat, where's your owner?" I squatted down low, but not low enough to give Oliver a good chance of scratching me. I didn't dare transform into a wolf, regular mundanes would panic, and everyone else? I didn't want to risk my pelt over the flea-bag, not at least until he was alone. "You don't need to be afraid, little guy." Dumb cat.. I thought, not letting my real emotions show to the tiny thing.

Oliver sniffed the air before slowly approaching this man. He grinned, trying to scare the person looking at him. The brown tabby cat strolled over and hopped up onto Ragnor's shoulders. "And you are?" Oliver asked, now using the tongue of English-speaking humans. The male hopped off and laid down. "Eh, it isn't like I care though. And you smell like dog. Imagine if Leli found that out, though. Speaking of Leli, here she comes now!"

"Interesting indeed. But my name isn't of concern for you, kitty." I replied, not really surprised at all. When you basically are what normal humans call a myth the abnormal is basically "normal" for me. "This Leli, I do not know her, is she your owner?" I asked Oliver, raising a brow.

Oliver burst out laughing. "Owner? That's funny, puppy. But no, Leli isn't my owner. Hey, do you wanna see a magic trick?" Oliver suddenly shifted into a human. "Ta-da! See? She can't be my owner. Aye, Leli! C'mere! I want to introduce you to puppy over here! He's really funny! Also, I hope you aren't drunk you're too young."

Leli strolled over to her idiotic best friend. "Oliver, I hope you didn't do anything to people with cat allergies. Otherwise, I will take you back to your house and I won't take you dress shopping with me. As much as I really don't want to dress shop." I really regret doing that bet against Oliver. Now I have to let him make me wear a dress. And whichever dress he likes most, I have to wear it for a day after we buy it. God, I hope he does something stupid so I don't have to do it today!

Although your race seems to be the mystery, are you a warlock? Or does your heritage have warlock blood in it?" I asked Oliver, not paying attention to Leli.

Oliver simply shrugged in reply, glancing at Leli, who shook her head in response. "Ehhh, we really dunno. Aaaanyway, let us be off! I must see Leli in a dress. I bet she'll look ridiculous." Oliver dragged Leli off toward the dress shop, while Leli struggled to get out of her friend's reach. "Oliver no! That's it! I'm not getting you dinner if you don't let go."

I began to walk out of the bar, a man gave me a dirty look, and I flashed him an intimidating, murderous glare. He slunk back into the crowd and I let myself out.
