There's a Legendary Pokémon on your doorstep.
You open the door quickly and usher Mewtwo inside, handing it a cup of (Drink Of Choice).
It turns to you, and seems to be using telepathy so you and (Partners Name) can hear it.
"Listen to me well, human. This will be said once. You have been chosen to be a survivor. We have seen you work with your partner, and it has been decided for you to continue." The Mewtwo said shortly, pushing the cup back towards you. "However, nothing will stay the same. Things will certainly be different. There will be others like you. You are gifted." It paused again. "Arceus is interested in you." It paused again. Boy, these dramatic pauses were getting on your nerves.
"I don't approve of this." It said startling you and your partner. "I'm sorry human, these are my orders." You passed out, streching your arm towards your partner.
When you awoke, you were cuddled up with your partner. A single note was laying on the ground beside you.
