Hikaru nodded absently mindedly, staring at his egg. He blinked startled when he heard the Tochic. He smiled ackwardly, but looked down with wide eyes when he heard a crack.

((Gah! And I don't notice it because there's already a red line under it cause Torchic isn't in the dictionary! >.<))

Hikaru nodded when the rest of the egg shattered and a Shinx remained. "Shinx!" it cried stretching happily. Hikaru smiled softly and started to pet the electric type happily.

Lyn felt her face heat more at the compliment as she blushed. "Th-thank you..." she whispered back, tripping a bit on the word. No one had ever complimented her eyes. Usually she just got weird looks, or asked why her eyes were so creepy. She thought that was all they could be to anyone. Gathering her courage, she faced the girl. "I-if you don't mind me asking... Are you going to name your pokemon? I hear a lot of people don't but some say it helps build a better bond..." she whispered, a little more loudly now, the words tumbling out. The egg gave a small shudder, either because it liked the idea or because it was close to hatching. Lyn smiled to herself, imagining it was both.

((Was Crystal talking to her, too? Sorry, I couldn't tell...))

Hikaru shrugged. "I don't know." he said, smiling lightly when the Shinx head-butted his hand lightly, trying to get him to pet her more, before sniffing the Torchic.

Harley laughs "I think your shinx wants some attention!" Torchic felt uncomfortable having the shinx too close, but stood still, and just smiled

Torchic used glare to slow the shinx, then climbed up and took a ride. Harley was starting to laugh, he never saw anything so funny

Shinx let out a playful growl, using Charge, storing up power for a moment before charging forward at a fairly fast speed. Hikaru laughed, watching.

Shinx skidded to a halt when he felt Torchic fall off. She quickly back tracked. "Shinx?" she asked, tilting her head.

Hikaru followed his lead, picking up Shinx, putting her on his shoulder, and headed back towards the class. He had a feeling that no matter what he was going to get yelled at by the Old Lady, but he could care less.
