I sat at my normal spot, under the cherry tree, doodling in my note book. I normally kept that notebook open for documenting certain students' everyday lives. I heard something and my ears perked up. I shook it off like. It most likely was nothing. Even though they were a few feet away, I knew Yuro and Sakura entered the school. Melody wasn't far behind her brother. I smiled, knowing the secrets my friends hid. Like... I started to think, but the bell rung. Putting down my notebook, I went over to my friends.
Yuro's POV:
My little sister was next to me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Aria approaching us. The girl had her advantages, being the smartest girl in the first year, but she also had her disadvantages, always being the first out of all the kids to be picked on. She normally sat at the cherry tree, doodling, but today it was different. She was actually away from all the other kids to avoid interaction. She waved at me and Melody, smiling.
"Hi!" she said, uncharacteristically happy.
Happy that she was getting out of her shell, Melody responded with a “Hi!”
The bell rung again, telling us it was time for our first classes.
