hi there! its my first time trying to write a suggestion and my english isnt that good but i'll try my best to explain this!

so, my idea is : basically instead of only having male and female gender options, we could have some other opinions so nonbinary/agender/etc people feel more comfortable on here, and it also shows your preffered pronouns! lets go !!!!

(please dont mind that these are really badly edited,, i tried!)

To choose your gender/pronouns on the settings page! I've found this little gender symbol list (made by deviantart user Cari-Rez-Lobo) in case you want to check it out! And also this pronouns list! Sorry but i dont know who made it.

And this, for profiles/forum. When you pass by the gender symbol with your cursor, a little thing will pop up saying the person's preffered pronouns!

I know it'll be hard to add all of these but i think its worth a try! I'm so so so sorry if i messed up something, if you have any way to help(by adding more info, getting better screenshot edits or even adding something to this), please contact me, all help is appreciated! Thank you very much~

I hate to say this, but something similar has been suggested before. Let me find the link.
I found the link, and this has been denied. However, as someone said, there IS a thread suggesting the ability to HIDE your gender.

I myself, wouldn't use it, but for the people who would:
I totally agree! I think it would be fairly nice to not always worry about what to call people. I know, I, myself am always scared that I'll use the wrong gender or pronoun.

Eg; Some users have they're gender as female or male, but prefer "they/them" pronouns.

Although, sadly, like ThisSwagNameIsTAKEN said, I think this has been suggested before. Or at least, something closely related to this.

You're welcome. It's such a shame it's too hard to program, I would've really enjoyed having it, but people's "About Me" will have to do. The hide gender option could work, also, though. So don't lose all hope!
