With a sigh, she dropped the two skinny mice she'd catched, hiding them under the snow. "Better hunt for more than that.", she grumbled, leaping back the way she just came.

The striped she-cat sighed again. "The mice are pretty lean this month, I hope that at least the birds have more flesh to feed from. I know a save place near the cliff, where many birds live, but it's difficult to hunt them. I wasn't there for two days, so maybe I'm lucky today... Wouldn't be too bad, would it?", she said with a slightly bitter chuckle. "At least we cats have each other in hard times like this, right?"
