Today was...
Eventful.
At school, there was a Renaissance Fair, put on by the 7th and 8th graders-my school is K-8. It was fun. We learned about sword-making and chivalry and stuff. At the catapult station, we told the presenters of the booth where to put a mini-catapult, and when it was my turn, it nearly hit the gym roof! I was proud of myself. I forgot my lunch, so my mom had to come and bring it. Then at recess, I went to talk to Taylor, who's my closest-and pretty much only-IRL friend. We had to eat lunch in our classrooms 'cause the fair was in the gym/cafeteria, and my friend's in a different class. Anyway, I wet out to talk to her, and she was with girls that we had earlier agreed we hated. You can imagine my fury. When they saw me, they ran. I charged after them like a gazelle on steroids. I said something I regret. Now we have a chink in our friendship. After lunch, the entire school went to see a play by the 7th and 8th graders put on. Then, I got back to my class. We had some time to goof around, so I beat my chest rapidly while someone vocalized the John Cena theme. Another person asked if I was on catnip, because I had told them before I was secretly a cat-girl. Good times!

Sorry I haven't been doing this lately. I feel like these past few days haven't really been eventful.
NO MORE OF THAT!
Anyway, today was...
Unusual.
My usual teacher and my math/writing teacher were both out sick, so both classes had substitutes. My classes' sub was our principal. During recess, I wandered off on my own, because my friend was practicing gymnastics. When I came back, the people she was with had ditched her... For the second time. After than, I had art, but I was done with the project, so I just chatted with a friend. Then, in reading, we're supposed to do these book report group projects, 'cause we all did the same book. I was done with my project, so I wandered around, chatting, when I stopped at a group with my friend. She's doing a puppet show about the book, and two of the main characters are boys. How her group moves their puppets around is: Tape popsicle stick between legs of paper puppet, and move around with said stick. She noticed the... *ahem* Placement, on the boys specifically... Let's just say she agreed that her mind was in the gutter then.
I also had my grampa on my mom's side over for dinner.

Today I went to this 'Sportsman's Show' thing with my mom and dad.
It was kinda fun.
There's a bunch of booths with stuff like bows and decals for sale.
We walked around, and I just had to have chosen my most uncomfortable shoes. Anyway, there was free candy at some booths. YUM.
There was this one booth with necklaces with stuff like bugs and flowers in 'em. I got a yellow flower and a red flower.
There was another booth with yard signs, and one gate-thing was all Doctor Who stuff.My family was in geek heaven there.
We ate pizza there, and we watched some dude try to catch fish as we ate.
There's always this giant pond-thing in one room, with about a hundred trout to catch. It's for kids 13 and below, so next year is my last.
Each kid can only catch 2 trout, and you can kill it and take it home or donate it, or put it back after you catch it. Anyway, after I cast my line into the water, I caught my fish within a minute both times. I also put 'em back both times.
After that, I went to a gold-panning booth. It had real gold and [/i]real garnets.[/i] I got about 5 flakes of gold, and 4 pieces of garnet the size of an eraser attached to a pencil. I got to keep 'em, so now they're sitting by me in a vial of water as I type. Then, I got a little metal dinosaur standing on a little rock.
