"If you say so, you can have all of the pie then." Pushing it over
to Italy. "And, uh, sure, I guess?" She walked outside into her
back garden, shutting the door so Italy wouldn't eavesdrop.
He followed her and sighed when he stopped. ''I know It's weird
coming from me but...When was the last time you saw Antonio? I
haven't spoken to him for about two months. '' he said, blushing a
bit.
"Is this really what you wanted to ask me in private?" She paused.
"I haven't seen him for that long either. I still have that red
riding hood cape..." She replied, refusing to make eye contact.
He sighed. ''My brother teasing me is the last thing I need. I
still have that grandma costume too...'' he paused a bit. ''L-Look.
If you see him anywhere just let me know okay? I want to talk to
the bastardo about something...'' he looked at the ground, his
cheeks a bright pink.
"Yeah, sure..." She replied. She put her hands on his cheeks and
lifted his head. "I'm glad I got you to open your eyes, I couldn't
imagine life without you, you are like a brother for me, all those
memories with Antonio... It was fun!" She smiled brightly.
He blushed a bit, sighing before deciding he'd say it. ''I never
thought I'd say this to anyone...I didn't want to tell Veneziano
because he'd probably tease me about it...W-Well...I kind of like
him...As in something more than friends...'' he said, his face
putting the ripest tomatoes to shame. ''I had to say this to
someone...I couldn't hold it in anymore.''
She looked at him, shocked. "You- You-" She smiled. "I won't tease
you, I'll try and contact him." She looked through her phone and
handed him Spain's house and mobile number, along with his email,
and all social networking sites.
She hugged him back. "My pleasure, Lovi." She replied. "Good luck,
with him, okay? I would give you my luck, but I kinda need it after
toda-" She paused and thought about it. "I give you all my luck."
She replied, remembering when Romano liked her when she was a kid.
"I-I almost forgot about that!" She made eye contact with him,
finally. "Yeah, but when we were kids... I remember you liked me...
I ruined everything for you..." She began to tear up, she shut her
eyes, allowing the tears to roll down her cheeks.
He hugged her tightly. ''I'm sorry...'' tears formed in his eyes.
''He probably likes Feliciano anyway! I mean who wouldn't? He's
nice, kind, sweet, he can cook, make art like a professional. Then
here's me. The idiotic, useless, stupido who can't do any of those
things. I know I have no chance with him but I want to try!'' he
said, tears running down his cheeks.
"You aren't any of those things. How can you be useless when you
saved my butt in there?" She began, pointing to her home. "You are
fun, grandma." She giggled, hinting at the red riding hood
incident. "And I'm proud to call you family, someone close to my
heart..." She wiped away his tears, and then her tears.
