After a great War against the Forces of Evil, Arceus' plates were scattered around the world, and Arceus itself died. However, before its death, Arceus selected some humans to become Pokemon, Gijinkas, or stay Humans, and, knewing that he would die after the War, he blessed an forest, The Forest OF Illusions. However, if the selected ones find all the Plates, Arceus will come back to life.

Claire wanders through the forest nervously. Her Panpour and Larvesta rest on her shoulders, except Larvesta is somewhat awake. The trainer hears a twig snap behind her, causing her to flinch and turn around slowly. A pale pink Umbreon was shaking her pelt. "Ugh, stupid wings and my awful flying skills..." She blinked and turned to Claire. "Wait...can you understand me?"

Bliss slammed into a tree, hitting his face. "Mystery Mind Dream thing, remind me why I came to this forest? And end up injuring my face again?" The Togekiss Gijinka had several scratches on his face already, and he had only been walking for a minute or two. He saw two humans in the distance. "I should go meet them...no they might freak out."

Bliss glided slowly upward, ignoring the stinging pain in his face. He landed on a tree branch sturdy enough to hold his weight, which he discovered was now very light. He slowly walked on it so that he was close enough to hear Tim and Saiki, but far enough that they might not see or hear him. But he couldn't truly be sure.

Leli leapt onto Claire's head. "Don't mind me I will just relax up here," she purred. Claire sighed. "Okay, but don't annoy Sun or Emiyn," the trainer replied. Leli nodded. "Alright, Claire!" the Umbreon squeaked, curling up and falling asleep.
